To elaborate further, the old Technic launcher is not supported at all. Since it isn't supported anymore ever time we do some back-end work related to the new launcher the old one breaks more and more. It might still work if you can find it, but sooner or later it will no longer function because it can't interface with the Platform back-end anymore the more changes we make. It's not out-right killed, just ignored and dying.

There is no 'working with MCF', the issue was Eloraam either refused or didn't find it necessary to have some sort of API that allowed other people to use Frames. They were neat for a few people, ignored by others, and derided by other modders because of the hackish-way frames manipulated the game in order to have them exist in the first place.

This is a visual bug. The build you selected will be the one it runs, until you go back into the menu, then it switches. It only happens when you open up the menu.

It's called Tekkit because that's what it is, Tekkit. Old Tekkit is just that, old. Or Classic. Or 1.4.7 or ___________. Tekkit Lite is just that, Lite. This new version of Tekkit is a re-invention of the original Tekkit, but without the impossible-to-update guts that classic has. I understand there is potential confusion, but really the only people that should be playing with Classic are the people that REALLY like Classic and this know where to find it.

If this is the case then Kaspersky (man what happened to you? You used to be cool) is doing what bad AV programs do and block ALL JAVAS. It's lazy and dumb and something I'd expect from AVG. What Cheap says is your only way out, which is saying "No dearest Kaspie, I do indeed trust this. " and then patting on it's head. OR replace your AV but that's a little extreme and we aren't aware of your circumstances either.
