For some reason, I can't connect to minecraft.net by domain name when I'm on certain networks. I can, however, connect by IP. Just not by name. No matter what I try. Editing hosts, using Google's DNS, nothing works. So, is there any way to force the launcher to connect to minecraft.net by IP instead of by name? Thanks in advance.

Did you put the zip in your Public folder? As in, the folder named "Public", not any other folder? Because it needs to be in your Public folder, you should then get an option called "Copy Public Link". It will NOT work correctly if you don't put it in your Public folder.

I've got 3 stacks of Tungsten Ore. If it gets a use, I'll happily waste all of it on that use.

Dropbox works just fine for me. You need to actually use the Public folder, that will bypass all permissions.

Install the Ultra edition and set graphics to fast. That will immediately turn off all the junk. Set Advanced OpenGL to fast as well, it will improve framerate quite a bit. Just fiddle with the settings and turn off OptiFine's stuff.

Rotated textures isn't a problem with the textures themselves, but with how the textures are placed on the block. Updating IC2 will solve this.

Use ID Resolver if you want automatic resolving of ID's. Otherwise, you'll just have to resolve stuff manually. Making a NEI item dump to see all the free block ID's can help.

For stuff like nuclear missiles, you could reduce the height difference in some scenarios to mitigate the inaccuracy. Of course, when you're using nuclear cluster missiles, an inaccuracy of 20 blocks doesn't really matter.

Use OptiFine and turn on "Custom Fonts". It's off by default, hence the default font.

Thaumcraft 3 - Unlikely. The mod author specifically doesn't want his mod in any public modpacks, apart from AMCO and FTB. Twilight Forest - Doesn't want his mod in any more public modpacks.

Ah, that actually worked! Guess that explains why they respawned even when I reset the chunks, the lava pool was part of the standard generation. Thanks for the suggestion.

Didn't work either. It's like the chunks the volcano is in just reset automatically.

You can make your missiles 100% accurate by putting a Launcher Support Frame T3 behind the launcher, right next to where the missile is stationed. That said, there might be a tiny bit of inaccuracy if you fire from really far away.
