Well, you can skip directly casting the armor by making the Ignot cast form. Just make a handle stencil and make it again with the same stencil. I don't think it was removed AFAIK, so give that a try.

I dunno, it smells too much like Aether for me to embrace it. The fact that you can't just gear up and enter puts off quite a few people off just from that alone.

A cast is needed. You'll need aluminum brass or gold to be poured on an empty casting table to make a blank cast. But the books should have told you that, too.

Handle, Pick Head, and Tool Binding. Punch out some Stencils for those on the Stencil Bench, make them with wood (for starters) on the Parts Bench, and assemble them on the Assembly Bench. I recommend using Paper for Tool Bindings (and crossguards as well) in the future. You'll get plenty of upgrade slots that way without sacrificing durability.

The DimDoors mod got updated with those freaky monoliths. They actually have the power to send you to Limbo if you attempt to bypass the traps within, as they use the Enderman sight code to detect you looking at them, and if you gaze into the abyss for too long... Ruins Mod. They make great bases once you deal with the spawners.

Might want some means of changing that texture as well. Perhaps re-craft it with an another block to change the closed texture?

I recommend searching for the Forge Lexicon. It requires a pedestal, but easy enough to craft as well.

Fun glitch with teleporters: The amount of power they consume is porportional to the distance they are far apart... once set. That means you can plop a second teleported right next to the first, connect it together, then move the second with frames to its final location and it will still use the original distance to power it!
