Uh, you could run a program (like Teamviewer) that will allow him access onto your computer, but keep in mind that gives him access to EVERYTHING on your computer. Automatic cloud syncing is absolutely not a good idea, because every single tiny change made to the files would update the whole thing, and completely kill your bandwidth. You could also rent a small low powered server, if it's only for two people. You could get one fairly cheap, but it still costs money.

Please, do a little bit of research. Any server that will run tekkit at an even remotely bearable level, is going to be costing you upwards of 40$ a month. No one is going to do that, for free, for someone they've never met before. This post is spam at best.

What in the fuck is this post? ._. 1.1.1.0 is the current version of the launcher. If it says that, you're current. As for tekkit, you can go to the options button on the launcher, and make sure you haven't set it to use a specific version.
