What is this modpack about? Well for starters it's not just another stereotypical "kitchensink-confetti-style" modpack full of chaos, it is a carefully refined modpack with a lot of tweaking that was done with MineTweaker3 and MineTweakerRecipeMaker, careful review of config files and tedious balancing of Biomes O' Plenty settings all to bring the player of great gameplay experience!

***Server pack for this Modpack? Yes! There is now a server you can download for this pack!***

There are a few of goals that I aimed to achieve with this modpack:

  • First, I wanted to fill in "the potholes" if you will that were present in the pack to achieve a certain level of balance overall.
  • Second, I wanted to mesh the mods together so that overall a lot more mods are integrated into one another more than you would get by default.
  • Third, I wanted to encourage exploration! (But who doesn't want to explore?!)

Here is a list of all the changes that were made in this pack:

  • Numerous item recipes were altered in one way or another. (changed, added, or fixed)
  • I added an oreDict group for bluepower/projectred lumars so that like colors are cross compatible like any other oreDict group.
  • Ore gen was changed so that there is only one type of every major ore and not four or five variations. I also added in the spawning of Thermal Foundation's Shiny ore at a low rate.
  • I very carefully balanced out Biomes O' Plenty biome generation and weights to provide a good balance between the custom biomes and vanilla biomes.
  • I have disabled RailCraft and Tinkers' Construct village gen to prevent getting an early game boost.

***NOTE: There are multiple recipes that have been disable completely so if there is no recipe in NEI it has more than likely been disabled (minus some BuildCraft assembly table recipes that don't show in NEI)***

***NOTE 2: with regards with the latest pack update and ComputerCraft. To equip weapon, tool, or other upgrades open the Turtle or Advanced Turtle GUI and place the upgrade in the inventory on the bottom right side of the GUI, then enter "lua" (no qoutes) in the interface, then lastly enter one or both of these commands: turtle.equipLeft() or turtle.equipRight() and it should respond with "true" while taking and equiping the upgrade.***

***NOTICE: This modpack now includes Fastcraft and in accordance with the author's (Player) request regaring modpacks I am including this message to give a heads up to any player that uses this pack. If you crash please note in your crash reports to me or any mod authors that Fastcraft is enabled. Lastly if you wish to disable completely or just change the version of fastcraft that is running locate your technic launcher folder, then click the folder with this pack's name, then locate the mod's folder. (It's easier you install the launcher files to a folder on your desktop)***

Go here to check out the pack!

You could make this!

ok point taken, forgive me I didn't realize there was that strong of feelings about font :)

That particular font has a history of being abused, to the point that there are advice columns written on why not to use it.

Well I did change the font that same day and it should be showing up. Thank you tho Torezu for the link, even know it mentioned comics directly I suppose the same points stated could be allied to forum threads of any kind. Again forgive my ignorance I'm not an avid forum reader and I never fully realized the strong feelings. ^_^
