This is caused by Project|Red; so I think removing all components of Project|Red might fix the error. Â EDIT: After testing; removing Project|Red has solved the problem, if you wan Project|Red you'll have to install an older version from the website. Â Just going to say; Project|Red isn't exactly a 'well needed' mod. Removing P|R is easier than sitting through the Java update process while it throws malware/adware at you. Lumpous Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 ProjectRed provides all the logic gates, pipes used for a fullautomatic storagesystem, Backpacks, Red Alloy Wire (a redstone replacement with alot more range and possible ways to deploy) and of course the lamps.  So i'd say its a well needed and used mod... But, well... if you can live to play without them, feel free to...  And if you tend to get some malware while updating Java, id recommend to you having a closer look on where you are loading the update from... Loader Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Removing P|R is easier than sitting through the Java update process Perhaps, but that's like saying "it's easier to just get a taxi rather than filling up my car with petrol", it's debatable even once, but it also doesn't solve the problem (it just stops this particular error, this isn't the only mod likely to have problems with old Java versions). Â Â while it throws malware/adware at you. Lumpous rightly points out that you shouldn't be seeing any adware or malware - there might be ads, but that should be about all you're seeing (far from the same thing, though). If the launcher fails to download and install a Technic modpack, you post in Bug Reports section about it so we can find the issue. The most known issue right now is that one mod in the latest recommended pack lacks java 6 support. If you have Mac 1.7, uninstall java 6 and get java 7. Â If you have Mac 1.6, then there's not much to do except use an older build and/or wait 'til the mod dev makes his mod java 6 supportable. disconsented 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Loader Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I'm beginning to think you're all the same guy, testing to see just how unappealing you can make helping you sound before I give up and won't bother  If you've got a bug, please, post with all the information (logs) that you can on the Tracker, believe it or not that is the laziest way for you to get useful help because it means we can probably see the problem straight away rather than having to guess.
