Hey there my fellow Minecraftians,

I'm currently working through each mod in the pack making tutorials, the idea is to not just cover them as an attack of the b-team tutorial, but to treat each mod as its own standalone allowing them to be used for any modpack that includes them e.g. Tinkers construct is included in Attack of the B-Team, Hexxit, Big Dig, MoonQuest Reloaded and many more and thus the tutorials are applicable for any of these packs.

Mods Covered in this topic

Archimedes Ships

Advanced Genetics

Better Storage

Carpenter's Blocks

Enhanced Portals 2

Flans Mod

Food Plus Mod

Galaticraft

Mr. Crayfish's Furniture Mod

Necromancy

Secret Rooms

Statues

Sync

Thermal Expansion

Tinkers Construct (below)

Witchery Mod

Make AOTBT look beautiful with Shaders Mod

First not covered in any of the following videos is how to choose a location and my own personal recommendation is to pic an area with a lot of trees, close to water and if possible easy access to stone, Why? you ask well after seeing the first Tinkers construct tutorial you will realise why.

Looking to learn how to get started on Day 1 in any of these packs then you'll want to hit the ground running with the previously mentioned mod,

Now getting around in Minecraft has always been a slow process but in Attack of the B-Team and many other mods they provide Archimede ships which allows you to construct boats but more importantly airships (as these can travel over land or sea and allow you to easily survey large areas of terrain) interested?

Archimedes Ships

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REEODXXf2uQ&list=PL0myKslMywcfqafGGn5lZcQL0TSk_bZOe

The above video covers how to make each item required to make either the ships or airships and show how to construct a basic airship and fly it.

Next up on the agenda is Advanced Genetics as this will improve your survivability by allowing you to enhance your genes with DNA collected from the various inhabitance of the Minecraft world.

A side note on this one you cannot get abilities from mobs from other mod only vanilla creatures give out genes with abilities but mobs from other mods will give you basic genes which you will also need.

Ok added another new tutorial this time covering Statues mod as witchery is taking me a long time to record as there are so many elements to deal with.

The video can be found above, after flans mod.

If it's any help, I think splitting witchery the way you have done is a good way of doing it - I'd imagine it'd be hard to do with less than;

(put into a spoiler tag so I don't bloat your thread)

Getting Started (The basics, you already have that - getting mutandis and various witchery plants)

Poppets (You have that, you don't really need anything else to do most of those except the more advanced potions and components)

Mutations - probably a short episode on the mutations you can do with the sprig - this is the only way to get frogs and owls (for frogs toes and owlets wings) so you have to do it for some stuff.  It's also a quick and convenient way to get the clay you need (put dirt under water, use the sprig on dirt and it'll do a cross-shaped area of conversion to clay).  The Polynesia charm should probably have an honorable mention here, as it allows you to trade with animals for items they'd otherwise drop (you can get wool of bat from a bat for example, a snared bat that you get out of a chest to trade with is by far the fastest way of keeping this kind of thing convenient).

Altar and advanced materials - again probably a short episode on how to start by making an altar in order to power the distillery and kettle, distillery works like the oven (but you use it to make stuff like the diamond vapor) and the kettle works strangely (you throw stuff in).  You may be able to tie this into the previous episode if you don't mind it being 15 minutesish (owl and frog parts can be used in a lot of potions).

Circle Magic - this one will be fun ;)  Show off some of the spells and the coven witches as well as the difference the coven witches make with some spells, if you can find time for that.  This will probably be long just on its own.  Be sure to try the 'curse of hell on earth'.

Dreamworld & Dreamweavers - this would be a "getting started quickly" episode (so it wouldn't be easy to follow the format you usually use), you just want to be able to make an altar in order to make the brews of flowing spirit in the long run, but in the short run you need to make a dreamweaver of nightmares in order to have a chance of getting a dream instead of a nightmare (depending on which it is depends on what kind of cotton is in the world, you need the flowing spirit back at the overworld to guarantee a dream and you need it in the dreamworld to farm the special cotton).  This would be a lot of work relative to usable video in all likelyhood which is probably why there's not a lot about the dreamworld around (but hey, there's not a lot about it around so less competition I guess).  It would still be a fairly long episode.  If you did it in your format it might not be so bad, though it's hard to show things like the dream or the nightmare you could maybe have a short section showing you in each?  That sounds like I'm wandering into an area in which your expertise will far outshine mine, though :)

Items & Utilities - the wierd stuff like witches/necromancers robes effects (creepers or undead ignore you), necromantic skulls (attracts undead), broomstick riding, witch-hunters gear and the witches hand/infusions (brews of raising make it easy to demonstrate the control abilities of the necromantic stone if you don't use the control method of the infernal infusion), 10-15 minutes?

Wand - you'll probably need an entire episode going through the spells you can cast with a wand/enchanted stick (they're little gestures, some only work if you have the right infusions - damage and possess only work with infernal, for example).

Potions - Maybe worth showing off earlier on - brew of sprouting or brews of love etc. can be conveniences early on in the game but it might not be worth showing this off at all (especially seeing as people can try this in creative if they like more easily than most categories).

Quite a mod - there's more coming, too (Fetishes, Spirits and Death).

Edit: Geez- forgot the most important thing - Thanks for doing this for the community!  You are of course welcome to ignore anything I say or cherry-pick bits but I'd rather you had the option to ignore it than no info at all :D

Wow what a reply, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to write all that out! Its truly epic and I appreciate it no end, I have to admit its hard to get the knowledge out of my head and into video I spend hours making each map to be able to show it all and as you can see by the edits in my videos sometimes I have to say what I'm thinking then move it into a logical order after so there's not random info in between related things (the saplings in the basics of witchery shows that as I had to say about not burning your saplings immediately otherwise I may never have said it and then people would be annoyed with me when they realise how much work they could have saved by planting but then I went on to the last sapling so had to cut and move them both about lol)

Your break down there was beautiful and I shall come back here each episode to ensure I don't forget to include the important stuff you mention as well you covered pretty much the whole mod there and some bits I have to admit I'm struggling to find way to demonstrate them in a clear and concise manner as the mod overlaps constantly and I really want to cover everything in order but its almost impossible due to thing from other sections get pulled into other areas (even trying to write it here is confusing).

The dreamweaving (which I'm working on now) and circle magic are the sections I'm dreading the most as there are so many combinations and elements required to really show what each thing does as well as why it does it, but I am going to add a bit of flair to these episodes as I've decided due to the hours of labour required I might as well go the whole hog and actually throw in some acting to.

Once again thanks for taking your time to help out its truly great to have someone try and help me for once :D
