carlsoncalvin Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 So, I just downloaded the Technic launcher, and everything works great, its all there, but the only thing is it opens minecraft version 1.6.4, rather than 1.7.10. Has anyone heard of this? I've browsed everywhere trying to find a solution, or at least someone with a similar issue. Does anyone know what to do?
Ewe_Loon Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I donot have that problem, what modpack do you have selected ?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 29, 2014 Problems with the Launcher belong in the Tracker for the Launcher.
Moderators Munaus Posted July 29, 2014 Moderators Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) we haven't established if this is a bug yet, plow. Especially since there are hardly any 1.7.x packs out there yet, atleast not from Technic carlson has yet to respond what modpack he is playing Edited July 29, 2014 by Munaus
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) @Munaus: Too true. Might have been a bit trigger happy there. @carlsoncalvin: Can you be more specific? I am able to launch vanilla MC 1.7.10 as well as a Forge 1.7.10 modpack through the technic launcher without difficulty. Edited July 29, 2014 by plowmanplow
carlsoncalvin Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Sorry, Ive been away from the computer. Im just trying to run Tekkit (the newer one). I mean, whenever I hit play, Technic opens minecraft 1.6.4, but if I use the standard minecraft launcher, it loads 1.7.10 just fine. p.s sorry about the misplacement of the thread

Mods are locked to Major MC versions normally.
carlsoncalvin Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 What do you mean by that? is 1.7.10 not a major version?
