Smeltery Cant build smeltery

Hey and i cant build the smeltery from tinkers construct.I followed the book and all but still i couldnt do anything with the smeltery.Please help!

That is one horrible picture. Use F2 in-game and grab screenshots that way.

Regardless, I can see the problem already.

 

Try reading the book again and following the instructions better. Your smeltery is too small.

I agree Melfice, the base is probably the correct size but the walls should allow for a 3x3 INSIDE them. so the walls would be 4x4 but the corners are not required. Controller and lava tank need to be on same level but not necessarily next to each other.

Since the 3x3 is inside, then the walls would measure 5x5, not 4x4. Everything else is correct.
