I had that issue with the carpenters stuff last version too, did you try the secret rooms trapdoors instead? They worked a lot better for that for me.

Uh, looking at the maths unless there's a bug this system should eventually run out of power - you loose power every time you do the conversions. If you use a bucket of lava in the Magmatic Dynamo it generates 180K RF. If you use the Magma Crucible to make a bucket of lava from cobble/stone/obsidian, it uses 240K RF. So each time you generate lava to power the generator, you lose 60K RF. That's no good - cobble isn't a good source of lava for this generator unless you're just looking to lose power. There is are alternatives though - if you're using lava then instead of stone or cobblestone you can use netherrack. If you use a bucket of lava in the Magmatic Dynamo it generates 180K RF. If you use the Magma Crucible to make a bucket of lava from netherrack, it uses 120K RF. If you use the Magma Crucible to make a bucket of lava from Blaze Rods, it uses 20K RF each, and takes 4 to make a bucket, 80K RF total. So each time you generate power using netherrack as fuel you gain 60K RF. That's not so bad, though the steam engine is looking pretty good. Blaze rods are a bit better, as they make you 100K RF from each 4. What I think those are really for though are blazing pyrothium. 2 redstone, 2 pulverized coal, 2 sulphur and 2 blaze powder produce 4 pyrotheum dust, which is enough to melt into a bucket full in the magma crucible. Pulverising coal first; 2400 RF * 2 = 4800 RF Pulverising a blaze rod is 1600RF, though each one makes 4 powder and we need two. 1600 RF / 2 = 800 RF Sulfur is the limiting factor, though it's a regular accidental byproduct in the pulverizer (50% chance when making blaze powder even). Redstone Dust needs no pulverizing. Now we have 4 pyrotheum dust we need to melt down, 20,000 RF Each. 20000 RF * 4 = 80000 Now you have a bucket of Blazing Pryotheum. If you use the Magma Crucible to make a bucket of Blazing Pyrotheum like this, it uses 85.6K RF. If you use a bucket of lava in the Magmatic Dynamo it generates 1,000K RF (1 million RF). So it's fiddlier and needs blaze rods, but you're up 914.4K RF per use (it doesn't generate faster, just runs a lot longer). If I need lava, I tend to just grab a big portable tank and fill it up with buckets at the nether, though I usually use steam for power now.

There's no great way to do this, but I've posted a workaround you can try here; '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

For the record, this isn't entirely Apple dickishness (though they're being dicks and you should certainly complain to them or they'll keep thinking it's ok to do things like this), Oracle deserves some of the blame for being dicks too. With that said, the only way you can do it that I can think of is to get some software like Pacifist (this will allow you to install packages manually in MacOS) http://www.charlessoft.com/ Then use it to run 'JDK 7 Update X.pkg' in the 'jdk7-7uX-macosx-x64.dmg' file you download from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Thanks for the reminder on this, I'd forgotten (people have probably got used to cooking mutton now, too, so that was a near miss). If a mod looks over this can you please check if it is possible to get this change to the config officially added? It certainly seems like something everyone would always want, I really can't see any downsides (other than maybe encouraging people to use the oven if you were considering removing it).

There is an option to set it to 'underground mode' which only shows stuff near you, not the surface. I think the key is ; for me but I may have changed it, check the mapwriter config and give that a go.

The option for turning into boss morphs must be turned on in the morph config file, otherwise it just picks a pig.

Hi BigE - it's a problem with an oven on this map at location -177,64,-116. If you can get on the server you can break it and replace it, if not you'll have to open it with something like MCEdit and remove it from the map directly.

Yep, in fact there's even someone who's posted this bug; http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-161-food-plus-cannot-craft-caramel-version/?gopid=2064#entry2064

No worries, glad to help -
Are you on someone elses singleplayer world that they've used the "open to LAN" option on?

Here it was a while ago; '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> There's a few others there too, show us yours!

Yeah, it'll never install the 64-bit version unless you explicitly tell it to, which is a bit of a shame because it's not like the autodetect can't see that you're using a 64-bit OS even if you're using a 32-bit browser.

It might be worth testing, that sounds like it could be dodgy RAM. Follow the instructions here if you're on windows - choose extended if asked what kind of test you want to do (this will take hours, so do it in the evening sometime when you don't want to be using your computer). http://windows.microsoft.com/en-nz/windows7/diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer

Ok? I'm not sure where you're going with that - do you think there's a bug or it's overpowered or something? Do you just think it's cool and want to share it with everyone (you didn't actually say how you did it)?

You just found a way to suck the last of the fun out of it for the poor villagers, AO Should provide a reasonable boost to productivity though... (You win at most evil machine so far, in case you're wondering)

crash Attack of The B-Team Server Crash
Loader replied to ArchimerTheHobbit's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Sure, break it and place it back down in game if you can, some people can get that close. There's not a lot of choice if you have to do it through MCEdit though as not everyone can get near them without crashing. -

This; at org.lwjgl.input.Keyboard.isKeyDown(Keyboard.java:407) Typically means you've set a keybinding that's out of the list lwjgl recognizes. Resetting the mod pack (gear underneath the menu icon for b-team in the launcher gives you that option) should fix it. I've got what might what might allow you to use those keys, but it didn't work last time (so either I've misjudged the problem or it was performed incorrectly). If you'd like to try it; 1: Go to the LWJGL site 2: Click the link for the latest version (currently 2.9.1) 3: Download the third file in the list, lwjgl-2.9.1.zip 4: Open %AppData%.technicmodpacksattack-of-the-bteambinnatives Now, this next bit is important, don't just copy everything out of that lwjgl download, we only want the input stuff; Move LWJGL.JAR out to your desktop or somewhere else so you can put it back if this doesn't work. 5: In the ZIP open the jar folder and copy these three files into that native folder; 5.1: jinput.jar 5.2: lwjgl.jar 5.3: lwjgl_util.jar If you try it, please let me know how you get on. -

Break the oven at 252,64,248 or remove it with worldedit, and be careful not to put stuff in it that it can't cook in future -
I have to warn you, this is every bit as callous as it sounds, and it'll make you feel like a bad person. I significantly increased my production when I discovered that children.. uh.. "output" as much emerald as their adult counterparts, though.

tinkers construct issues, and enchant issues...kinda
Loader replied to malachai1974's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Post the picture on IMGUR, then link it here, that's the easiest way. If the tool is almost full it won't let you skip over a section (say you've got 45 redstone from 5 redstone blocks on a tool, you can't add another block because it'll push the total over 50 which is the top end of that level, you can still add individual redstone dust up to 50, then add blocks again in the next level). That doesn't sound like your problem, but it's worth doublechecking you actually don't already have some boosts on those items I figure. -
Your server got lag spikes??? try this!

Those make more sense to me, if those GC tweaks are faster then it could be a faster and more stable setup (I'm not sure why they'd bother with so many GC tweaks if they weren't faster, so I strongly think that's the case).- 5 replies

Oh right sorry, I thought that's what you meant when you said settings - the keybindings are in the minecraft controls menu while running the game, there's a section for Tinkers Construct in there that should have what you're looking for. -
Crash when attempting to add bibliocraft
Loader replied to DamianLobos's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Frame incomplete means it's working fine, trust me, that mod is just a nightmare to actually use usefully sometimes The planes mod isn't in this pack, though you could probably add it without any issues. Good to hear flans is working properly in general though, that's worth noting.
