the last line in parenthesis means that your antivirus, or another security software, is scanning the modpack files. the launcher cannot launch during this scan. Close the antivirus, firewall or whichever is causing this and try again. Next time, post issues on Bug Reports. Locked

Platform username? the one on the website? I don't think that can be changed. Unless you mean Technic Launcher username, which shows in-game. That should be changeable through Mojang

As the launcher said: Consult the modpack author. Technic team did not create crafting dead and is therefore not responsible for it. This goes for all modpacks that other people have uploaded on the Platform. If you have an issue downloading Tekkit, Tekkit Lite, Tekkit Classic Hexxit or Attack of the B-team then you can come back here
