So uh yeah, it took the modpack 2 minutes, before it crashed. And it crashed with: [B#347] 2016/04/24 12:26:32 [INFO] 2016-04-24 12:26:32 [INFO] [STDOUT] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Meaning, you have not allocated enough RAM to the modpack. As I saw in your java arguments, you only have allocated 1 GB of RAM, which isn't enough for most modpacks nowadays (2 GB or 3 GB preferred). If you can, try updating to Java 64-bit, if you have the system to support it (in your case, Win7-64bit). This way, you can allocate more memory in the Launcher Options.

Launcher doesn't start Tekkit Legends
JaariAtmc replied to afcusto's topic in Tekkit Legends Discussion
[B#347] Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx512M https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/96563656271093760/166334782450565121/clearJavaEnvVars.bat Open that .bat, restart your launcher, retry loading modpack. -
No, google around, giving out such links is legally not possible anymore.

Why blame win10 When U CAN BLAME JAVA OR YOUR GRAPHICS
JaariAtmc replied to heyheygamer232's question in Technic Launcher
Well, maybe we blame Windows 10 because just about every single user that comes to us with such a problem is running Windows 10? Also, its quite easy to blame Win10 when people don't include logs. I wonder what's more annoying and stupid, the amount of crashes on Windows 10 or the amount of people that say "OMG IT CRASHED FIX PLOX" in different ways without providing ANY kind of logs. -
Just maybe, an option called "modpack options" when you have a modpack selected? Just look at the launcher with a magnifying glass, maybe you'll find it!

Yes. that happens...

Your download link already tells us the issue: It MUST be a .zip file, not a .rar file. And no, changing the download link to .zip isn't going to work.
-
O_O Your zip file contains SO INCREDIBLY MUCH unnecessary files... It only needs to contain the following files: /bin/ folder only needs to contain the modpack.jar /mods/ folder /Flan/ folder /config/ folder /hats/ folder Remove all the other files/folders. You also got a few mods from illegitimate sources. @plowmanplow Please work your magic.
-
Decapitalize the names of your folders. The difference between "Bin" and "bin" is the difference between your pack working and not working.

Modpacks dont work -Please answer asap
JaariAtmc replied to Scrubbydubby's question in Technic Launcher
Yes, that would be a possibility, although we prefer the other options first. -
I would suggest trying it over here: http://forum.oblivion-networks.com/support As that is the server he plays on and has this issue on. Technic does not own this server, does not moderate this server, nor can they help you with such requests.
-
Again, the file in /bin/modpack.jar is called "modpack" again. IT REALLY NEEDS TO BE "modpack.jar". Also, Damage Indicators seems to be not from the official source.

Modpacks dont work -Please answer asap
JaariAtmc replied to Scrubbydubby's question in Technic Launcher
Yup, your laptop is now trash, as it is running Windows 10. Try either updating your Intel HD graphics driver or downgrade your java to 8u25. -
Just login again with your MC account? You are not deleting your MC account...

Nope. Seriously, people seem to get dumber by the day...

Sorry to tell you, Aether, but the site's down. This is the new link (for now): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/96563656271093760/166334782450565121/clearJavaEnvVars.bat

Disregard this. Might have spoken too soon.
-
That's what you get for just about any modpack, any version of minecraft, launcher on technic launcher. Just ignore it, its not important.
-
Yes, there's an issue with that. You likely have an Intel HD graphics driver in your Win10 computer, and those were not updated to work correctly on Win10. You have two choices, either update your graphics driver, or downgrade Java to 7u80: http://cdn.lemonmc.com/jre-7u80-windows-x64.exe

Witchery doors (I think it was a Rowan door) and Thermal Expansion strongboxes (set to restricted for use with friends or to private for personal use).

Modpacks will NOT Launch - Please Help - Need an Answer immediately
JaariAtmc replied to Ikickurdoge's question in Technic Launcher
Please upload your launcher log to paste.ubuntu.com and provide us with the link. We cannot tell what your issue is with the information you provided. -
Could be any of the following usual things (yours *might* be unusual, but can't tell without launcher logs): You have an interfering Java_Options environment variable that limits your Java processes to 256/512/1024 MB max. You have recently updated to Windows 10 and you only have an Intel HD graphics driver in your pc. A config file may have been corrupted. You may not be allocating enough RAM, or you are allocating way too much RAM. So yeah, those are the ones I can think of right now, and there are more possibilities, therefore -> upload the contents of your launcher log to paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.
-
http://cdn.lemonmc.com/jre-7u80-windows-x64.exe It turns out that using Java 7 negates this problem.
-
You don't happen to have an Intel HD Graphics card, do you?
