  1. Got it during Alpha, 2 weeks before the Alpha 1.2 Halloween update.
  2. Maybe when the mod stops being so buggy.
  3. A safer, easier and more efficient setup would be tons of stuff like Geothermal Generators or Generators if you're going to use EE anyway.
  4. That's something completely different, and requires constant ice from an outside source. Not the best thing you'd like to have. In fact, it requires 15 blocks of ice per second. That's 9600 ice blocks per cycle, which is insane. You'd only be able to get that with EE or a huge amount of compressors. If you have enough power to have that many compressors and systems working at once, why bother with a reactor?
  5. Disable the #1 offender: Collectors. Condensers and Transmutation Tablets are reasonable. But if you want true balance, then I suggest disabling the Condenser too.
  6. I have no words for the awesomeness I have just witnessed. Great job, seriously. I should make something similar as well once RedPower gets updated. I just can't work without it.
  7. And without Collectors, Condensers and Tablets, that leaves...what exactly? I think they did the Tablet right, and that it should return in EE3.
  8. Let's not turn this thread into an epeen showoff. Pretty nice work, OP.
  9. Condenser is reasonably okay. But I think the tablet is less OP. Condensers on their own, without Collectors are perfectly fine. Pretty much all of this. I hope they keep this system in EE3.
  10. EU Reader is probably wrong. Try posting this in the IC2 forums, I'm pretty sure they know what's going on.
  11. Use the EU-Reader. You should really only use it on pieces of cable with energy going through them. MFSU's only deliver what is requested, so if there's one machine requesting small amounts of EU, it will probably only show something like 30 EU/t. The most reliable way to test energy is by hooking up a Mass Fabricator to whatever you want energy to run through. Mass Fabricators will take up as much as gets delivered to them, and so will Rotary Macerators with tons of Energy Storage Upgrades and Overclockers.
  12. Did you download the modloader or normal version? Any mods which you are supposed to install into Minecraft.jar now need to go into Modpack.jar.
  13. Actually, it's just MV Transformer -> LV Transformer. MV Transformers convert from HV to MV. HV Transformers are only there to convert EV (Extreme Voltage) to HV.
  14. Just trying to Options Menu Button doesn't work, no wonder you still can't spawn items.
  15. Nevertheless, most serious servers have EE disabled. And it's not efficient at all. Use the reactor planner, it's almost the exact same as doing it ingame, and is much easier to view in a glance than a YouTube video. If you don't want to use it because you don't like it, then people are going to mock you, simple as that. And when EE is enabled, why use reactors anyway when you can just pull a stack of Geothermal Generators and Lava Cells out of your ass? Showing people designs, you're doing it right. Why don't you follow in his example, OP?
  16. Technic isn't going to include stuff without permission, ever. I was under the impression that was abundantly clear.
  17. Because the admin wanted to? Honestly, ask him yourself.
  18. TC3 seems unfinished right now. What I would've liked is TC2, but modified, instead of an entirely new Thaumcraft. The new taint system blows, and it feels like the entire framework is there, but a lot of items are still missing.
  19. His avatar probably describes his age and his behaviour best.
  20. Wow, just wow. You necro'd a thread with nothing useful to add, AND double-posted. The only thing which could make it worse is the posts being signed. And I don't really get the people who join SMP servers and then build 500000 blocks away. Might as well play SSP.

Well, he could have told us sooner, and he could have turned the game over. It's not like you go from "Lalala making a game" to "Oh my god I have a son" overnight. He must have known for quite some time his wife was pregnant. Terraria has so much potential, but it's all wasted because he doesn't want to pass the game on. You know why? Because "the code wasn't obfuscated for a reason". So he basically said "Screw you, let the modders handle it". Terraria's console port is getting updated, so there's no reason not to pass the PC version on too.
  22. I hate it when my it crashes. I'm not a pretty good driver, so I have to buy a new one every week. I feel your pain.

    Starbound

Nah, the lead developer stopped working on Terraria with the excuse "Yeah sorry guys it was just a test project, have fun with all these unfinished features". Which would be fine, if he turned the game over to Gaslamp Games who asked if they could further develop in Terraria's potential. They could have made one hell of a game. But the developer didn't turn it over, because that would risk his few pennies income from the one or two people who buy Terraria weekly. Meanwhile, the console versions keep receiving updates, but Redigit is too greedy to turn the PC version over to another developer.

Not buying Starbound after the dev lied and walked out on Terraria like that.
  25. Like I said before, what OS do you have? And how much RAM have you allocated to Tekkit?
