Even if we really super didn't need sengirs permission at all, there are two very good reasons why we still wouldn't have forestry in the pack. 1) Technic is playing nice now and getting all its permissions 2) Sengir has proven that he is willing to insert malicious code without warning or communication. Forestry is now a landmine.

Even so, the incredibly long wait between updates is of concern for modpacks, and unless they fix it in Aether 2, there's still a ridiculous schism between the overworld/nether/other mod dimensions' gameplay and the Aether gameplay. The fact that you practically have to start over when you enter the aether bugs the crap out of me.

Have you tried going into options and selecting "manual build selections" and going for the right build? Sometimes the autoselect gets things jumbled up.

It's been considered. the Voxel pack is a set of functions for world editing and designing that corm a whole that has little to do with actual gameplay, and more to do with results. Flans "modpack" would just be vanilla minecraft with planes in it. No significant changes to gameplay, and no really deep content. Unless something has changed, the decay is separate from the dense ores tag, so you can actually find worlds without decay that also have high ore density.
