Appears you may have to replace your version of Ex Compressum with a slightly more updated version. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ex-compressum/files/2307498 Something something this is why you don't rely on mojang's servers for skin data... Hope you aren't playing on a server..

(Technic logs + pastebin or paste.ubuntu.com, thank you)
-
Funnily enough: Report yourself with name change as reason, and the requested name included.

For some reason, people only find the posts without this fix, and then reply to some thread from 2012 or 2013 that's completely irrelevant...

Custom Modpack Crashes "Nullpoint Exceptions
JaariAtmc replied to Body-Bagz's topic in Platform Pagoda
Looks like Age of parasite and bugs is made for Forge 2768 (you are on 2847, and yes that matters), and your version of TerraFirmaCraft is a couple builds out of date. -
Yes, you need the java version. Windows 10 version is just absolutely useless.

Could not reserve enough space for project heap
JaariAtmc replied to JasonisThicc's question in Technic Launcher
You can't allocate 2.5 GB RAM if you don't have it available at that moment. Close Chrome/Discord/Firefox, try again. -
Are you using hackphoenix or MC-Launcher?
-
Remember that you needed to rename the "forge.jar" to "modpack.jar"? In your case, rename it to just "modpack". After that, fix your dependencies.
-
Looks like you are trying to allocate more RAM than you currently have available. You can't, for example, allocate 8 GB of your 16 GB if you are already using 10 GB for something (cause that would be -2 GB available, and that's not a thing...)

Need help with an error that I have no idea how to fix
JaariAtmc replied to OmenPM's topic in Platform Pagoda
Tell them to downgrade their Java to 8u51. They can always use the java used by the vanilla minecraft launcher. They'll just have to find it. -
This thread on MultiMC's github will give you a general idea of what has changed. https://github.com/MultiMC/MultiMC5/issues/2544
-
No. You will have to redesign how forge is handled without breaking older versions used. The whole installation process of Forge was changed, so yeah. The launcher files are opensource, so you can add some pull requests if you want. Either https://github.com/TechnicPack/LauncherV3 or https://github.com/TechnicPack/LauncherCore

Custom Mod Pack won't start (Log Included)
JaariAtmc replied to CirusMelon's topic in Platform Pagoda
It would help if your modpack could be downloaded. Interesting modpack name btw... This issue is usually caused by using the incorrect forge. -
Which would possibly help them if they can still update their graphics drivers, but now they updated past 8u51, which causes this particular error. Ever wondered why the vanilla minecraft launcher uses a bundled java 8u51?

Quick question before I login to the launcher

How do you expect to play minecraft without logging in to your now-mojang-used-to-be-minecraft account? -
I cant launch the Decimation mod pack

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Initializing game Operating System: Windows 10 (x86) version 10.0 Memory: 627629120 bytes (598 MB) / 1037959168 bytes (989 MB) up to 1037959168 bytes (989 MB) You are using 32bit java, get 64bit java (offline download required on site, online ALWAYS downloads 32bits), allocate 2-3 GB RAM. -
I cant launch the Decimation mod pack
JaariAtmc replied to TunnelSnake484's topic in Platform Pagoda
Both tend to work. Use pastebin. -
Technic, like Atlauncher and MultiMC, do not support Forge for 1.13/1.14/1.15 due to how the forge installation has changed.
-
That's you using 32bit java and thus only allocating 1 GB RAM. That's not enough anymore since about 1.5.2 for modded minecraft.
-
Modpack starts fine on my end. 35 mods loaded.

Hey, atleast you gave a log. Most people seem to forget that. It does help however. ...Yes, I'm totally copypasting this from one of the other posts I made. It's a common issue after all. Thanks Microsoft... You appear to be having an issue with an unsupported Intel Graphics device and Windows 10. This issue is common for older computers and Windows 10. We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 8 from this link: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428 Start up the launcher and try again.
