I'm looking forward to the windmills. Also hoping the BASIC Boot Disk add-on is included as well. While I think FORTH is fine for minecraft, BASIC is still used in the industry whereas FORTH is very uncommon, so in my opinion it is better to encourage students to learn BASIC rather than FORTH.

OK guys. I think he understands now. Sean, the CT3 mod had many bugs that did not play nicely with the other mods in the pack. As such it was removed. If you review my original comment, you can still drop it in your mods folder, and have your server host do the same. The tricky part is to find a sever host who will be willing to make the addition. I recommend finding a friend with a fairly decent computer. A server is quite easy to set up and there are many, many tutorials out there to help you. In fact many people on these forums run servers both large and small. They would be more than willing to help you out.

Well, "It no work" really doesn't help us to narrow down your problem. Could you tell us exactly what error you are getting. An error log would also be appreciated. Also, the bug report forum is full of people able to help you out. And this forum is filled with... well... people telling you to go the the bug report forum so they can help you out. There are bound to be some minor issues with the 3.1.3 release, so helping us find the error as fast as possible is always welcome.

Despite the fact that I find the mod unenjoyable, if you wish to play with it, simply download it and drop it in your mods folder. It really is that simple. Might be a block id conflict, but that's easy (if not tedious for larger mods) to fix.

Two things. One, try disabling your avg firewall while you download the pack. AVG can be a bit too protective at times. Two, tell us exactly what mods it says you are missing. You may be running a different version of Tekkit then the server you are trying to connect to.

Has anyone found any incompatibilities when moving 3.1.2 maps over to 3.1.3?

There are a few things you need to do. First, find out what version of minecraft the YogBox is using. Second, find a copy of NEI that is compatible with that version of minecraft. Now you just need to drop it into your mods folder and you should be good to go. There are a few NEI ad-ons that include more mod items, and I would recommend installing those as well. YogBox also is not being actively supported right now, so it may have some outdated versions of the mods.

XD If you are using adblock properly, you are able to dictate which websites you want to block/allow and what type of ads you want to block/allow. This allows you to turn off those incessant ads that spam YouTube while at the same time supporting your favorite sites.

Ok, so weed may not actually kill you, and a lot of people would agree with that. The thing is, it makes you feel OK with doing nothing, and come-on do we really need more people feeling comfortable watching the world go by without acting upon it? It's personal choice, but I choose not to use it.

The thing is, that if you have too many food items, it is hard to make each one usefull in its own regard. For example, bread while less filling than steak is much easier to farm in mass quantities. Cookies used to be the only stackable food so they were good on long journeys. You can breed chickens much quicker than cows due to them dropping eggs, yet chicken is less filling than steak or pork. With the addition of potatoes and carets, the only downside is they're difficult to obtain. It's becoming harder to make each food item special in its own way. They have two choices, make a bunch of different food items, and not worry about some overlap in usefulness, or they can give different food added bonuses. For example, coffee gives you speed, beer makes you strong, and frog legs give you jump boost (doesn't have to make sense ) and so on.

I was under the impression that the Feed The Beast modpack made no money off compiling developer's mods into a pack. Are you suggesting that modpack creators only develop their packs to make money?
