  1. This isn't the place to advertise you're looking for a server. It's a place for server admins to share information, help each other with issues. Go search the 3 forums and find one that sounds what you'd like.
  2. Thanks for the results. I found the same. As to stopping the rollback, I know LogBlock has a blacklist for not rolling back specific blocks, but I haven't seen anything similar on CoreProtect. Maybe the author would be kind enough to add a feature.
  3. This can't leave yet, the fun has just begun! I hear rumors that she's contacted Notch and he's going to officially present the docket to Kaker himself Stay tuned kids.
  4. Thanks for following-up with the cause/fix. Too many people don't!
  5. I'm glad some people can accept responsibility for their actions. Now only hoping they'll learn from them.
  6. Thanks Soul and Greed for sharing information. Too many servers battle each other, when there's really more than enough people to go around. I've ran a normal MC server for almost 3 years and it was wildly successful until I was forced due to family situations to back out a little. Now I'm focusing my attention on Tekkit and I do have to say, it's a bit more complicated/quirky/touchy on resources ;)
  7. Hmm, interresting question. I'll have to check what's logged in my database when I place one when I get home. You got me thinking...
  8. Are you running MultiWorld or MultiVerse? I didn't have significant issues until I started fooling with MultiWorld, then everything seemed to take a crap. Everything from plugins to random lock-ups and restarts. Never had this issue until 3.1.2, but can't identify a specific cause either.
  9. HawkEye is no longer being supported it seems and neither is Guardian. Your best bet would be to go to CoreProtect or LogBlock, but I've had issues with LogBlock and pipes as well. As to your other question with LWC. The BEST way and only way to be sure about item IDs is to log into Tekkit either multiplayer or singleplayer and look it up on your NEI.
  10. Priceless! I should find something to mindlessly rant about on YouTube as well!
  11. If you go into your config folder, open the immbis.cfg (I think that's how it's spelled-sorry, not at my home PC at the moment). After you open it, look for the filename that is growing entirely too large and remove all characters after the = sign. The server will no longer log to that file. Not needed anyway and imo should be turned off by default.
  12. I had to chuckle. I'm sorry MineFabi, is this proprietary information? If so, was it marked appropriately? (Sorry, if you worked for a big tech company you'd understand)
  13. Has your server ever had a hard-stop ie: loss of power, hosting company manually stopping the server without appropriate measures taken, there's a multitude of things I've learned lately that have the potential to corrupt maps.
  14. I saw what happened Renegade while I was at work (love my Admin App). I've had a chat with the staff about a certain lack of professionalism some have had. Thanks for your concern. Please let me know going forward if you have any issues.
  15. Ah, if that's all you're looking for there are some plugins that can assist. GetPerms is one of them. It scans the installed plugins and every load exports a text file with all nodes it can find. Doesn't work with all plugins, but most.
  16. I've never used bPermissions, but all the information you're requesting should be documented. If it's not, move over to PermissionsEX because I know it is there. In order for you to competently operate a server, you need to understand how what you've installed works yourself and not rely on others to build it for you. I can give you examples of PermissionsEX, but there are plenty on their wiki. Also, any plugins you're adding should state the nodes available somewhere as well. I suspect the reason you're not getting assistance is it appears you're relying on others to create your server and it doesn't appear you're doing your homework.
  17. I've recently ran into the same issue =/ Regen is known to cause issues as well. Also, you may think that your corruption is tied to a specific area, but I assure you, it spreads. We're sending lifeboats of people and their stuff to our new map and after the most recent restart, a decent portion of our spawn dissapeared. I agree with Torezu, map backups are the best way to prevent the issue, but it's sometimes really hard to determine when the initial hard-stop occured.
  18. I know that Linux has the issue. I maintain a copy of my server on my local PC and when backing files up, I run into this every once in awhile and fix it manually.
  19. I believe this is the case as well. I'd love an option to offload the map files via FTP through the plugin, but not sure how difficult that would be to implement.
  20. I'm sorry, Nixsy did state a point I meant to make pretty clear. Everyone can use the Tekkit part of the launcher and connect to a Bukkit or Tekkit server. I haven't seen any issues specifically with that just yet.
  21. Why create two threads for the same issue? The 1st one you started here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-running-properly.20018/ Was just fine. dragonseth07 is being helpful. He's trying to educate you in how to properly not annoy the piss out of people on the forums so someone will actually take the time to help you with your actual error. And yes, error = bug. From now on, post your errors related to Tekkit in the bug section. I had the same error last night when trying to run my server from my local machine for testing. -snip- Do what Torezu suggested below...
  22. I'm looking for something similar, but specifically creative flying only for my staff. I've tried a few two versions back on Tekkit, but need to try them again now that we're up to 1.2.5R4.
  23. There is a fakeplayer for RailCraft; however, I do not believe it applies to the TBM.
