Yeah, you're right, that's what I meant. But what I meant by that is that, you'd have to download and install all the software necessary to mod minecraft, decompile IC2 mod class files,search for the class about how the damage to Quantum is handled, find what data needs to be changed to modify this (And this isn't necessarily just a number, it might be a few lines of code) And modify it according to your desires. If you have no experience in modding whatsoever, this might be pretty difficult task. (Also, I'm not a modder myself, so some terminology might be incorrect, but I got the concepts right).

Well, to be honst, UU-matter is a bit of a pain in the ass without scrap generators. An alternative could be a quarry, but I don't think the big rape holes are worth it.

I hardly see how much sense it would make to have the diamond armor be weaker than nano, but you'd probably have to decompile the class file and meddle with it to obtain this result. If you're not a modder, you can't do that, sorry.

As I said, I have been following this thread, and I did see those two posts. Whether they're complete fiction or not, this is not for me to judge, as I don't have any contact with the modders, and as you said, you aren't sure about this either. What I know for a fact though, is that about one year passed since those two posts, (posts that, in my opinion, aren't even particularly offensive toward the modders, but that's an opinion) and that they're the only ones you've brought up. I hardly see how posts Kaker made a year ago could justify his stepping down now. Kaker is the reason we can enjoy the Technic pack, and he is incredibly generous to use his own free time and pocket money, without asking anything in return. Imagine (It's a completely fictive situation) RP got a team of modders working on it, with Eloraam leading, and the fans and the team asked her to step down because they didn't think she was useful anymore. It comes to me as incredibly ungrateful. Aren't there any other posts, more inflammable posts from Kaker that you could quote? If not, I will personally consider this specific suggestion void.

I'm following this thread closely, and even though I'm not participating I'm extremely interested. However, there is one part of the facts I'm not aware of, the apparently terrible attitude Kaker has had in the past, that had the consequence to "burn a lot of bridges" between him and the modders. Could you please quote some examples of those venomous statements he's made? I haven't seen anything in this thread that doesn't make him a nice, and very patient guy. Thanks.

The mods are amazing at handling idiots, but that doesn't mean there's any less idiots. To be honest, Munaus idea is pretty interesting. But I usually lurk enough not to miss any of the interesting threads.

God, Kaker is one of the most patient guys I've every seen. I would have long gone through the rage-ish and crude insults-ish road if I was in his place.

Well, I checked the modlist of FTB, and, if you ask me... Anyway. About Haters. There are haters, there were haters, and there will be haters. Gandhi had haters. Martin Luther King had haters. Einstein had haters. Technic has haters. Everything post a certain cap of popularity gets haters. Jealousy, ignorance, for bad or good reasons, it doesn't matter. Technic has haters, and will continue to do so and I'm sure that if FTB modpack's gets popular enough it'll start to get some haters too. What makes the difference is how we handle haters, and our indifferent-ish position is one particularly appropriate if you ask me.
