Romon Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 I was hesitant at first but then I looked at all the mods in it and now i'm actually quite excited to upgrade!
andrewdonshik Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Couple slight issues in Tekkit lite/factorization. Silver spawns massively, which imbalances other mods, but with it's poor forge ore implementation, it forces you to use it.

andrewdonshik Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Is there a config to config ore spawns? Yea, the issue is that using thermal expansion or redpower silver doesn't work to craft factorization items. (I believe they messed that up with tekkit lite)
Romon Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Yea, the issue is that using thermal expansion or redpower silver doesn't work to craft factorization items. (I believe they messed that up with tekkit lite) Does seem like it's a bit buggy right now and needs some patching
andrewdonshik Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Does seem like it's a bit buggy right now and needs some patching I mean which ore to gen was messed up. The forge ore dic. is a factorization glitch that has been around for awhile.
Mooseman9 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 The Lexicon from the Omnitools mod allows you to switch between mods ore blocks. Example (if the little explanation there wasn't clear enough): You are able to convert between forestry copper blocks and industrialcraft copper blocks or any other mod that adds copper using the Forge Ore Dictionary. This should work for all different types of ores, as long as it has some other mods metal to convert to.

The issue here in the first place is that the ores aren't registered in the oredic correctly already, so this won't actually work..
Guest Ysharma Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Could we arrange a system in which all the companies put all their items in chests, take screenshots of their chests and then get those items in the new map via admin? Again with mystcraft what happens to all of the companies that get a boost at the beggining by stealing? Is interaction between companies destroyed? Is it possible to sneak into enemy realms? What about stability for the server? How many realms can each company make?
The_DarthMoogle Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 M-Tech is now open for applications. Also, here's some screenshots of Phase One of Moogle Manor (THE PLACE WHERE I DON'T KEEP MY MACHINES) Plan for Phase Two is to extend the south wing by, uuh, lots.
Romon Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 A good idea for the new map is to let them decide whether they want all the things they had before or to completely restart or something, the reason i'm saying this is because when we start on the new map I kind of want to completely restart and make my own company.
nightrage Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 im i to connect using tekkit lite or classic? with my new job i dont get on much
Mooseman9 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Requesting Industrial Inc. to be changed to Creepist Tech. Seems like no one likes the name, as no one is applying to join. And also, with updating to Tekkit Lite, if the map has to be reset, all the better for me. Maybe I can actually recruit some people. Until then, it's basically just me running around doing everything.

But I thought you were bunking with us... :(
Mooseman9 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 So is that a definite yes, we are moving to lite? I have many, many plans and contraptions to setup. I didn't really get the ball rolling during this map.
Markarthian Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Alright, I'm very excited about Tekkit Lite. I like the idea of a complete start-over, back to good 'ol minin' with a iron pick One question though, when will we move (same IP)?
andrewdonshik Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 This afternoon, after I upload the 1.0.2 ModPack patch.
nightrage Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 i agree with the map reset to make things fair to all
Guest Ysharma Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Fine. And I relent to unlimited mystcraft. I have a plan. It shall succeed. You. Will. Fall.
andrewdonshik Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 If a moderator could move this thread over to Tekkit Lite, I'm migrating as I type.
Guest Ysharma Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Bye Bye map, Bye Bye HV solar factory. Bye Bye great canyon and tears of ashton Bye Bye EE2, hello UU matter
The_DarthMoogle Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Im'a gonna get some sleep, and you can all feel my wrath tomorrow.
Guest Ysharma Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Quantum has hit 14 members. Laminae traiecit in unitate et fraternitatis On a less happy note, we have to switch everything to be uu matter based which takes forever
Drewthat Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I seem to be having problems with connection with the server. It keeps knocking me off in the logging in process.
