poryy Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 What retarded idea do you want implemented into minecraft? Post your suggestion below. Me? I want a line of code implemented into minecraft that, if cracked, leaked, or pirated minecraft is loaded, generates an AK-47 out of data and shoots the pirate in the face.
MrFly Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Drugs would be awesome! Like Marijuana, LSD, Ecstasy etc. I'm not a stoner but this would be pretty cool
Xylord Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 If you're posting purposefully retarded ideas, I'd advise you against saying they're awesome.
Lethosos Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 An Easter egg somewhere that shows Flower Child exploding a creeper's prostate, if you get my drift.
okamikk Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 the most retarded idea i can think off to be put in minecraft... probably would be to put a version of me in the single player. one day you would turn up and everything would look normal, except all your most usefull items are gone!
freakachu Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 a check that verifies the minecraft jar has not been altered in any way and that no code has been injected at run time, and crashes the game if it has happened. optionally displaying a message warning the user that they have sinned in the most terrible possible way and instructing them to delete minecraft from their computer and never play it again under penalty of DMCA.
warpspeed10 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 And another line of code to check if that line of code has been tampered with or removed.
Nitus Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 And another line of code to check if that line of code has been tampered with or removed. But that would require another line of code to check if the line of code that checks the original line of code was tampered with or removed.
warpspeed10 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The final line of code would have this. //You are very persistent. if(isPersistent()){ //Give 1 free unicorn. }
Malawi Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 A mod that turns a random player built block into potential-lava(without changing texture) every x ticks. If a player interacts with the block in any way(walks on it/tries to break it/uses it), it turns into lava. The block-effect is removed after x ticks. There will be x potential-lava blocks per x player made blocks (Configurable).
Valkon Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 A game mode in which you collect colored wool to play Tetris with. You have a set amount of time between Tetris games, so you have to be quick with the wool production. You must beat this game mode to unlock the rest of the game.
dragonshardz Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Microtransactions - Pay .99 euro to buy a diamond pick! $2.99 for multiplayer! $3.99 to change your graphics options! 5.99 to install mods of any kind! And so on and so forth.

And so on and so forth. Sadly this has already been done on many servers. Albeit they inevitably shut down after only a few weeks when their player base leaves, but they try again nonetheless.

miniboxer Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 This is a completely absurd idea that mojang would actually add this, but a modding api that is actually good!
dragonshardz Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 This is a completely absurd idea that mojang would actually add this, but a modding api that is actually good! Hate to piss on your parade, but considering they haven't even released the API, who is to say whether it is good or bad?
miniboxer Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Hate to piss on your parade, but considering they haven't even released the API, who is to say whether it is good or bad? Based on the reasoning that forge is already about fifty times better than anybody ever expected a modding library to be, that the modding api was delayed 4 times, and that this is mojang making it, I would say the chances of it being good are pretty low.

How to make a mod API: Step 1. Distribute minecraft with forge already installed. Step 2. Win
GreenWolf13 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 How to make a mod API: Step 1. Distribute minecraft with forge already installed. Step 2. Win Technically, Forge is a library, and not an API.
thevortex Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 How to make a mod API: Step 1. Distribute minecraft with forge already installed. Step 2. Win this would be piracy, and this would not be allowed.
elmarko98 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Would it? They'll be distributing their product...
miniboxer Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Thread rerail: They should add all of the stuff from mods, except slightly crappier, so people don't think they are copying! Oh wait...
RalphRoberts Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 The ability to convert diamonds in-game into an actual pizza delivered to your door within minutes of giving up your diamond.
dragonshardz Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 The ability to convert diamonds in-game into an actual pizza delivered to your door within minutes of giving up your diamond. ...That's actually a pretty good idea.
