Custom modpack Flans mod Content Pack Tutorial

Hello, I am making a custom modpack and I need help. I want to put flans mod with a few content packs on my modpack. I have looked all over the internet and cannot seem to find a tutorial how to install Flans mod content packs on technic modpacks. Please Help

Flan's mod just goes in the "mods" folder with all the other mods.

 

Weapon packs go into a folder called "Flan" in the top level folder where "config" and "mods" are located.

Doesn't work.... I am so tired of trying over 12 times to get flansmod to work i tryed with forge universal recommended because it said in their website that recommended works then tryed it nope didn't work tryed without content packs nope didn't work tryed with latest forge nope didn't work. I guess I'm not sure what isn't working. I copied your Flan and mods folders into an instance of my and it worked just fine.

I'm not sure what to tell you. The pack works fine when added to my launcher. I suspect that your Java installation is suspect, especially since you seem to have gone from a current Java 1.8 to an outdated Java 1.7. Uninstall anything in your installed programs list related to Java and install the latest Java 7 JRE for your platform.

No, you did not:

Java is Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.7.0_67

The latest version of Java 7 is u71/u72. Yes, u67 would probably work fine, but the fact that you aren't properly downloading/installing the correct version of Java makes me suspicious of your methods.

Incorrect JSON format. Most likely a corrupted config somewhere for something.

Flan's mod works fine for me in another modpack no problems there and forge is normal.

There's a lot of locations for config files that contain JSON objects. This can be anywhere from the modpacks files itself to mod config files to the mods own internal files (those within that .zip or .jar) - there are plenty of options for where a JSON expected file can be located and that log indicates nothing of which file it was attempting to work with when the error was thrown. The best option I could even give for you on what threw the issue is maybe one of the last few lines before the "Unable to launch" line to indicate what exactly it was doing prior to erroring. But even then, this isn't guaranteed to direct you to the actual issue.
