LazDude2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 No, sorry. These are still JS ores, (you can find them in the customiser) and they've been smoothed. So, in a way, yes. But, not in the way you were thinking.
LazDude2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 0.8 Released! Grab it in the OP, hot and fresh! Changes: More RP tools, RP Control, New ores, and Bugfixes galore! :)

Mooseman9 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Just checked the WOBTF, and I'm still not on there. Aww...

Mooseman9 Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Found a bug with the IC2 machines. The arrow for the macerator, electric furnace, compressor, extractor don't light up/don't fill up. It sort of bothers me that I can't see the progress on the machines.

It sort of bothers me that I can't see the progress on the machines. Pretty sure they do, it's just a dark texture so it's a tad hard to notice.
LazDude2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Mooseman: whoops! You're now on the WoBTF. And yea, as Flipside said, the arrow does fill, it's merely a dark arrow even when full. If you look closely, it's there.
Kinglightson Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I decided to remake the Iron and Coal ores myself.
Adlersch Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I decided to remake the Iron and Coal ores myself. I really like the iron ore, but the coal I'm not too huge on - it contrasts a bit too much, especially since coal is pretty brittle and would be more spread out within the rock.
Kinglightson Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Thanks for the feedback. You are right about the coal ore it should be more spread out and contrast a little less. I will see what I can do and maybe Laz will incorporate them into the pack.
Adlersch Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Must say I love the new ores and gem tools - keep up the good work!

Great job!
LazDude2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Author Posted September 27, 2012 Thanks, Adler. Kinglightson: the iron is good, we might use it, but I'm partial to the coal we use.
Adlersch Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 As a side note, I adore the new cracked and decorative stone bricks. In fact, as of the update, they match my home's aesthetic better than before, so I didn't need to move them or anything. The new normal bricks are also refreshing and add more warm colors to the palate without overstating things. I don't know who made the decision(s), but good job - I love it. If I may ask, what can we expect or look forward to in the next update? I'd love to put my two cents in and maybe even try my hand at helping if I find the time.
Grindle2000 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I for one would like to see lighter arrows also , I can change them myself of course but i thought i would throw it out there 8-) .

I'm thinking around Christmas time? By then 0.8.5 should be done by then. Seriously, probably by Saturday or Sunday.
CityStorms Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 This texture pack is GORGEOUS. I haven't even installed it yet and I am all hyped. Sphax is great, but the pentagons get a little old sometimes. Do not stop this texture pack. Like ever.
LazDude2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Author Posted September 27, 2012 Well, what about when it's done? :P
CityStorms Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I will personally make more mods for you to re-skin.
andrewdonshik Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Well, what about when it's done? Re-skin some non-technic popular mods?
CityStorms Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Oh the Portal mod! Or Wireless Redstone!
