Fyrst_Igor Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 cannot confirm this, seems to be your tex pack, if you're using one Ok ill look more into it. Had the same problem on vanilla texture. Quote
Fyrst_Igor Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 For some reason i have some problems with the "i", to much space added after. http://prntscr.com/2ob14q http://prntscr.com/2ob11h I must have done something wrong earlier, but it seems ok now. On vanilla texture atleast. Deleting the text font file from sphax fixed it to. Dont know what i messed up, but all good now. thx Quote
Mr.B Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I noticed this as well. This power system split is becoming a seriously large issue. Quite sure that was the point. Quote

Syne Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Nahh, ExtrabiomesXL or Higlands would be better. BoP has so many biomes it's kind of spammy, imo. Yeah, any of those would work too. Its just pretty bland without additional biomes after playing with those kind of mods for so long. Quote

Thrawn89 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Thanks Jakalth! Your posts about Atomic Science are always so good and much needed. What have you used to get steam piped from the Funnels? Have you tried using Portatanks in place of Funnels, and if so how do you compare their efficiency? Skuli, please consider the Extra Cells extension mod to Applied Energistics. At my last count there's 28 fluids in Tekkit now and some kind of AE solution for that would be cool! Also the customizable cells could really help replace the bugged Storage Buses connected to Deep Storage Units since we're probably not going to get a fix for that due to rv14 status. Thanks! Quote

Shawn Mullins Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Also, Fusion reactors/Reactor Turbines are now uncraftable in Tekkit 1.2.5 (Motors). Yeah pretty much all atomic science stuff is now uncraftable do to motors not having a recipe. I had already built all my reactor stuff in 1.2.2 tekkit, then by 1.2.4 it all poofed out do to IDs changing. When they changed back in 1.2.5 since I had lost my whole setup now twice ( once to IDs changing, and once to not knowing I needed more than one control rod now) so I cheated them in to replace what I had lost. Never noticed the motors fiasco. I can't find a reliable wiki that is up to date about this mod. I really do like it and hope it doesn't get pushed out, but it is becoming a big hassle. Quote
StevenRS11 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 As I said earlier, it is a conflict between DD and GC due to each trying to register the same world. This happens when any dimensional door / rift is created on any GC Dimension, DD will save this world to be registered on server startup / login in order for any dimensional doors inside that world to function. However, GC expects to be the only one to register its dimensions so it tries that without checking if that world is already registerd... thus causing that error. Well, you are right partially. I keep track of other dimensions so rifts work in them, but I only try to actually register those worlds if their provider is my pocket provider. If there is a provider ID conflict, then this is what happens. Did you try what I recommend? You could also open up dim_-28.txt, and where it says isPocket or something, change that to false. Quote

It looks like either we need to update Calclavia Core to 1.1.1.65 (next build - we're currently at 1.1.1.64) which has a suspicious change log "Some universal recipe tweaks" (Atomic Science motor recipe is part of the Calclavia Core mod) or we need to install Basic Components mod (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2082255-resolvedmissing-steel-plates-need-help-uncraftable-items/). I haven't tested either of these solutions. Quote

Fyrst_Igor Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 This is no biggie, but mb others have thought about this to. In the power armor when u install a battery, for instance the HV one, u can raise the amount to 5MJ (5 million Juels) but when u look at ur screen to the right it will say 500K when at max. I guess thats because when looking at the battery with the tinker table it tells u the value of power in RF but the bar on teh right shows u the power in MJ, even though the word "juels" would make u think of minecraft juels and not rf. But well no biggie, just a mix of using 2 power i would guess, 1 for showing and 1 for filling. Quote
joshuad156 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Ran into a new issue with GC power systems. Seems like the aluminum wire stops conducting power when chunks are unloaded. Setup: Advanced Solar Power -> Alum Wire -> Oxy Collector Mystcraft books nearby to quickly travel between different dimensions When I return to the dimension with the GC setup above, the Oxy Collector no longer is powered. If I replace the wire, or in ANY WAY update a nearby block (placing a dummy block next to it works), the wire suddenly starts transmitting power. This doesn't seem to happen if GC machines are connected directly without wires. I can record a video if it helps anyone understand this. Tries this in SSP creative, as I haven't quite built all these materials in SMP survival yet. Quote
joshuad156 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 To add to my previous post, it looks like the oxygen pipes are heavily bugged too. As long as an oxygen collector is powered and collecting any amount of oxygen, using an oxygen pipe to move the oxygen allows any device to consume any amount of oxygen required. Here's my setup: Advanced Solar Power -> Oxy Collector -> oxy pipe Advanced Solar Power -> Oxy Bubble Dist -> oxy pipe The two oxy pipes are connected. It takes 14 blocks of leaves to produce oxygen at a rate of 20/s. At this level of oxygen production, if the oxygen bubble distributor block is directly connected, it reports "not enough oxygen". Adding leaf blocks until collection is at least 200/s results in the bubble coming online. However, if we connect these blocks with Oxygen Pipe, suddenly it works with just 14 leaf blocks, reporting a usage of 200/s. I'm seeing the same thing with Oxygen Sealer. Quote
joshuad156 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 FYI, looks like the 2 GC bugs I reported above are fixed in the one of the more recent dev builds for GC. Confirmed broken in vanilla+GC v908. Confirmed fixed in vanilla+GC v918. Quote

Thomas132 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Server crashes, i belive the cause is mystcraft as it crashed again when trying to go back to the overworld. Entered a Mystcraft biome where a book already were placed down on a bookstand. did some mining around it, came back and the book were gone. Got a mate to come in and place a new book. he did, used it and ported out. however i did not see any book there. left the game and the server crashed when i tryed to relog. Dont know where to get any more error messages, this however is what the server cmd window says ; Fixed this once before by deleting all the mystcraft files in the world biome but its a hassle doing that everytime. There is no further explenation when i try to reconnect to the server, the tekkit launcher just closes and goes back to menu, same thing happens with my mates when trying to login. 2014-02-02 20:05:05 [iNFO] [EE3] DynEmc system initialized after 3895 ms 2014-02-02 20:05:05 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Unloading dimension 513 2014-02-02 20:05:05 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Unloading dimension 512 2014-02-02 20:05:05 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Unloading dimension 494 2014-02-02 20:05:50 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Unloading dimension 1 2014-02-02 20:06:06 [sEVERE] [Minecraft-Server] Reached end of stream for /2620: 9b:0:0:0:0:19d2:ef32 2014-02-02 20:06:09 [iNFO] [Galacticraft] Registering remote planet dimension: - 28 2014-02-02 20:06:09 [iNFO] [Galacticraft] Registering remote planet dimension: - 29 2014-02-02 20:06:09 [iNFO] [Galacticraft] Registering remote planet dimension: - 28 2014-02-02 20:06:09 [iNFO] [Galacticraft] Registering remote planet dimension: - 29 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] java.net.SocketException: Connection reset 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unkno wn Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unkno wn Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at java.io.FilterInputStream.read(Unknow n Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at org.bouncycastle.crypto.io.CipherInpu tStream.nextChunk(Unknown Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at org.bouncycastle.crypto.io.CipherInpu tStream.read(Unknown Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at java.io.DataInputStream.readUnsignedB yte(Unknown Source) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at net.minecraft.network.packet.Packet.f unc_73272_a(Packet.java:145) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at net.minecraft.network.TcpConnection.f unc_74447_i(TcpConnection.java:325) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at net.minecraft.network.TcpConnection.f unc_74450_c(TcpConnection.java:549) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [sTDERR] at net.minecraft.network.TcpReaderThread .run(SourceFile:94) 2014-02-02 20:06:11 [iNFO] [Minecraft-Server] lokkaz [/2620:9b:0:0:0:0:19d2:ef32 :57525] lost connection Quote

I'm able to login to the server but i get massive lag In my experience that mean the server doesn't have enough ram, if you are running it on your local pc and playing that could be why. try allocating more ram to the server when you are loading it 2 - 4 GB should work, more if playing with lots of people. also load the 64 bit version of java, it can handle more ram better Quote
