Any way to get water in the nether?

You can't place water in the nether, it will just evaporate. Free-flowing water in the nether is not possible.

If you need water for machines (cooling engines or whatever), you need to collect it in the overworld and use buckets and portable tanks, or pipe it in using tesseracts and fluiducts.

Best way farming ore are laser drills. Focus on getting a powerplant that covers your powerneed + 200Mj/tic. Laser drills need 200Mj/tic to work at max and you can stop using quarry after that. Laser drill convert power to ores and doesnt destroy the environment and it can create all ores you need. Add to that sludge boiler and Igneous Extruder and you completly absolete the quarry.

Along the same vein, Mekanism's Digital Miner is a thing of awesome power and beauty.

It acts as a player break event so it can set off nether ores.

Which makes it even more awesome! Max size X/Y/Z with max speed upgrades set to get all ores makes the nether sound like a war zone.

A year ago when I made a nether cobblestone generator, the uu matter recipe for water (uu matter in centre and bottom centre spaces) yields pure water source blocks. These produce running water when placed in the nether. It's clearly not intended to be possible since you can't collect these source blocks in vanilla, but it worked perfectly.
