i was traveling with my dragon, but at some point my game crashed.

now, everytime i log on, its loading the world, but it takes forever.

Describe your Minecraft experience: I've been playing Minecraft for about 2 years, and have some experience with AOBT. I like to mostly build and pretend that I'm an adventurer.

Describe your experience with Minecraft servers: It's been hit and miss. Too many servers are just single players games with a chat room, since either many servers force players out to the fringes or players simple head there. When I've found good groups of players, I've had a really good time.

Have you ever been banned? This is not necessarily a deal-breaker, but please explain what happened: No.

What attracted you to this particular server? That you highlight it being close-knit. As I mentioned, I've always had more fun actually playing with others and helping one another that traveling 20 000 blocks from spawn and living under a mountain in solitude.

Anything Else? Optional.Is there anything you'd like to ask us or you'd like to share? Is there anything important for the staff to know? One thing I've enjoyed in the past was working on group builds and community projects, like repairing and repopulating a server NPC village on the last server I played on or being a part of a town and running the diner (even if no one ate there, because we didn't have shop permissions). I've also found than many of the AOBT mods do require some start up, and (at least early on) it's not always necessary for everyone to have to build up that infrastructure if they instead have access to community resources (like a starting genetics lab or a small smeltery).

Describe your Minecraft experience: I've been playing for a few years and I love it. My favourite mod is the witchery mod. I like doing stuff with other people like adventuring. I also like building cool bases. I love exploring new mods and ATOB is a pack I haven't delved into much yet.

Describe your experience with Minecraft servers: I've been on quite a bit of servers. I never try to cause trouble and am usually very good with others. I've been admin on a few small ones too.

What attracted you to this particular server? I was looking for a fun small community like server and thought this one looked good!

Edit 3: Issue was fixed, though there is apparently either a broken chunk or a massive lag-producer there. Leaving this post in case anyone wants to take care of it.

 

Can't log on. Decently sure I made my way into a corrupted chunk; the basic log in process works then I get a fully blank dirt screen. After a while (5-10 minutes) the game loads, however is completely unresponsive. The screen is black but I can see my hotbar, chat, et cetera. Hoping somebody could teleport me to spawn sometime, I'm logged in and in the chunk right now.

 

If possible tell me when this has been done/if it can be done.

 

Edit:

Been afk/kinda there staring at screen for an hour now while watching television. Appears everything is just going very, very slow. Doesn't appear to be a computer issue as everything else is speeding along; thus I'm assuming it's a chunk error. There's also a slight chance of a RAM overload I suppose, but that's unlikely as I allocated 3gb. (Still possible, AotBT racks up RAM like there's no tomorrow)

 

I've been able to screenshot my inventory as over the course of about 30 minutes I was able to open it... If teleporting me to spawn is not possible at all, a player reset would maybe be okay. But if possible I'd love a TP to spawn I'll be afk as long as I can but alas there's only so much time I can sit there staring at a semi-blank screen. Need... a... real... life...

That issue was fixed but my sad self ran into another bad chunk today. Apparently my player file was reset, I have no clue what was in my inventory besides a general idea.

hey,

 

everytime I trie to join the server, the server goes down.

the reason is: "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out"

when i looked up the modloaderclientlog I saw "Attempt to send packet to all in dimension without a server instance available" several times before the crash ping.

 

am i causing these crashes?

and if so, what can i do about it?
