  1. It's buggy - it was removed pretty quickly (it's gone again by 1.0.10b). Are you remembering to put something in the engine slot?
  2. The strongboxes can be picked up with a crescent hammer too, if it doesn't have to be an actual chest.
  3. DrakeEldridge, you want this to be a specific number for the modpack, not relative to your computer - 2-3GB seems good for AotBT without any resource packs added in. Sniper575, download 64-bit Java, if you have any further problems please post on the tracker (links and guidelines in my sig).
  4. As I understand it this mod pack is primarily for the Attack of The B-Team youtube series and we all just get the privilege of playing the pack they organised, you're probably best off contacting them directly (GenericB, Chimneyswift and a bunch of others whose names escape me right now). They're easy enough to find on youtube and facebook and tend to reply more than most people I've known that do this kind of thing. It's not wrong to post this here, but I still think if you're serious that's a better bet.
  5. Doing that works fine for me (even with chiseled obsidian) - did you forget the portal modifier block?
  6. It demonstrates that the MFR harvester can handle pretty much anything you throw at it with its algorithms (it was primarily a test of that originally, but was left in because it's awesome). People no longer have a leg to stand on when arguing that the harvester can't handle a modded tree like the Red|power stained trees or things like the Redwood trees (which have both caused issues in previous versions), it focuses the attention back where it belongs. Last I looked these could only come from dungeon chests - has that changed?
  7. You can tell when they're upset, they're not messing around.
  8. Have you tried it with feeding 3 sealers per line? That'd rule it out for certain.
  9. This isn't a recommended update - you need to manually pick the beta version. The current recommended version is 1.0.9c.
  10. Yes Braddaz, exploiting a bug can often give you more output than not doing so (it can also give you less - remember when everyone was complaining the galacticraft wires were transmitting no power at all?). Bugs can be unpredictable (this one is known to cause corruption to the world on occasion), exceedingly cheap (like the GC/TE interaction bug right now) exceedingly expensive (like the GC systems used to be) and even change and be fixed in future revisions. There's no need for anything that complex - here's one that doubles its energy input given some startup power, and it can be easily modified to quadruple it (by taking that design along another plane).
  11. I'd also be careful with the oxygen pipes - it doesn't say anywhere but they do have a maximum throughput - if you've got one reaching its max then it's possible that everything further down the line doesn't get enough air (so be careful where you join those pipes!). It sounds a little like you've got some bit that's running near to maximum and when you go away (and it does lazier calculations because only the average is important) it makes some rounding errors, maxes out, chokes a few sealers down the line and the others now fail to sustain the seal.
  12. Therein lies the rub, doesn't it? There's no point going beyond a certain point - enough is enough and beyond a point however much more efficient it is becomes kinda wasteful. I'll just leave this here;
  13. That's a good point - if the launcher has to choose between an up-to-date but 32-bit version of Java and an old version (1.6 or lower) that's 64-bit, it'll take the 64-bit version. As a general rule you should remove the old Java versions when you do an update unless you know you need them for something specific as they're fully backward compatible and it avoids missing simple problems exactly like this one. Updating or installing a new version of java does not remove the old ones.
  14. Neat Smurfy, thanks for sharing One thing to mention though is that you can boost the efficiency of that biofuel reactor with a planter/harvester treefarm setup, biomesoplenty trees seem to work with it and each extra type of item that goes into the biofuel reactor doubles its efficiency (it gets to the point where the slow rate that fuel drains out of it means you need several to increase your output).
  15. There should be a crash-log for this, please look in the links in my signature to find out where to get them from and then post them up on the tracker after reading the guidelines (links to everything are in my sig).
  16. This will obviously mean you're not able to connect to any servers that haven't done the same thing, so it's not ideal. Best bet is probably to post on the tracker like Kalbintion suggested to find and fix the problem rather than just changing the modpack.
  17. Something was left blank. (I guess that makes me the Cap'n) Probably the OS version on the right, that's pretty easy to miss if you got the title and tags already.
  18. I have the same thing, cafc - other players on my server (in very different places) have the opposite thing. I think some people, maybe including us, spot the blue very easily (or struggle to see the yellow) compared with others.
  19. This is a much better suggestion IMHO, it may not have the ability to refill as fast as the tank-in-nether method but it doesn't need any of your input to do it. Any method with the lava fabricator can output to pipes, so that removes your need for pumps too - a popular thing to do is to have solar panels on a spacestation (where they're safe from outside interference and they get a boost to efficiency) powering a lava fabricator (or a few) which then pipe into a liquid tesseract to go to the overworld.
  20. The tesseracts have a version that can transmit liquids, so you could do it like this; Have a tesseract in the nether hooked up to a liquid tank and pipes Set the tank to pump out into the tesseract then fill the tank with lava Put down a poppet protection shelf in that chunk (to keep the tanks, pumps and tesseract loaded). Set up a tesseract in the overworld, set it to the same channel as the nether one Set up pipes leading to wherever you need the lava in the overworld This isn't automatic, every once in a while you'll need to go top up the tank in the nether manually as there's not any pumps in this mod, but that's probably what that person meant.
  21. You're running java 6. 2014-04-08 14:12:06 [INFO] [ForgeModLoader] Java is Java HotSpotâ„¢ 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.6.0_65, running on Mac OS X:x86_64:10.9.2, installed at /System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home Start by getting the latest JDK from Oracle (the apple version of 1.7 only works in the browser) from here; http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html If you have any other trouble after that please post up on the tracker.
  22. It's also something that's added after version 1.7 - B-team is on 1.6.4 so I'm afraid realms isn't an option for you.
  23. Relogging should show them where they're supposed to be.
  24. You're probably best asking on the factions forums how to add mod items/weapons to the list of things that doesn't do damage, rather than here.
  25. The drive monitor will shift its scale around which is a little different from most of them (the network monitor does it too) but that's because it doesn't know what the maximum will be for those things - most hard drives 500GB+ will still achieve speeds of over 50MB/s even if they're in horrible seek conditions on the slow edge of the disk, but unless it's getting up that high at peak I wouldn't worry about it. (if it is you'll need a tool to find what the maximum speeds of your particular drive is). The TPS commands should let you know how many ticks each world is achieving and how long they're taking to complete - 20 ticks a second is normal which is equal to 50ms per tick. If a world is taking longer than 50ms to calculate a tick then it'll have to do less ticks in a second, and then you'll get server lag (most noticeable with block breaking or placing taking a second or so as the client tries to sync up even if it's actually still doing 19 ticks in a second on the server). If they're all reading 20TPS, that's perfect, it's more used to check that none of the worlds are malfunctioning. Glad it's sorted
