andrewdonshik Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Oh the Portal mod! Or Wireless Redstone! Wireless Redstone is in Technic. Portal Gun really shouldn't need a retex, but some large mods (ahem, Vanilla with Sprinkles) could use texturing, assuming they don't already base off the texture pack.
CityStorms Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Oh I completely forgot about it in Technic, I should use it... Well the Technic Mods are most of the major mods in Minecraft...
andrewdonshik Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Oh I completely forgot about it in Technic, I should use it... Well the Technic Mods are most of the major mods in Minecraft... True point.. There's also MFR, a load of BC/IC2 addons, and assorted other stuff that I can't name off the top of my head.

Adlersch Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 If I may ask, what can we expect or look forward to in the next update? I'd love to put my two cents in and maybe even try my hand at helping if I find the time. From my calculations.. I'm thinking around Christmas time? By then 0.8.5 should be done by then. Seriously, probably by Saturday or Sunday. It's great to know when it'll come, but I'd love to know what'll be updated and if I can help. ;)
LazDude2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 Railcraft, general improvements, etc. We're rapidly approaching finished-ness.
andrewdonshik Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Railcraft, general improvements, etc. We're rapidly approaching finished-ness. Would the Adv. Generator mod textures be too much to ask?
Kinglightson Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Railcraft, general improvements, etc. We're rapidly approaching finished-ness. I know that in one of the much earlier posts, Zicomax posted an image of stuff that he had retextured for railcraft but they were never added to the pack.
Zicamox Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I know that in one of the much earlier posts, Zicomax posted an image of stuff that he had retextured for railcraft but they were never added to the pack. I think you mean this? I've never worked on railcraft. And as far as I know, he never provided us a full .png of the tracks. Amen brother. Although I have other things going on, I could poke around with some textures for one of the other mods in technic and see what I can come up with for this. Ever since I first saw the John Smith pack, I couldn't go back. EDIT: I could do with your latest file so I know how the setup works - although I'm rather familiar with texturing, I've never done minecraft texture packs before. EDIT2: After a couple of hours of what I have so far... I've been tinkering with the railcraft2 texture map and overlaying with johnsmith-esque textures.
Kinglightson Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 That's what I was talking about, I thought that those were going to eventually be part of the texture pack.
Zicamox Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 That's what I was talking about, I thought that those were going to eventually be part of the texture pack. He never gave us the copy that he was working on, so we don't have any of his work.
FlipSide Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 The scaffolding, THE BEAUTIFUL SCAFFOLDING! Don't know why have such an obsession with it, however good job on the RedPower stuff, especially the gem tools.
Kinglightson Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 He never gave us the copy that he was working on, so we don't have any of his work. Oh I get what your saying now. Okay. Well the textures you did look great and whenever you guys get around to railcraft I think they should be incorporated.
Kinglightson Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I found a bug with the Carpenter GUI for forestry. The GUI is way off center:
Glowstrontium Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I found a bug with the Carpenter GUI for forestry. The GUI is way off center: It looks like you're using an old version of Forestry, try updating to the latest 1.2.5 version ;)
miniboxer Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 it appears that this thread isn't watched for me anymore, but oh well, I am really happy to see how much this has grown, considering that it took about a month for dokucraft support to get five feet.
Admiral Obvious Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Just curious, do you have an ETA on when it will be done? I mean, will it be done by the end of this year or will it be done by the end of NEXT year? How well are things progressing?

LazDude2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 It's pretty much done as we speak. It's very usable, and very classy. There are minor things, but it's practically done. We really should have called it 0.9. I'll be texturing MFFS at some point, but I'm waiting for Kaker and Co. to (hopefully) update to Thunderdark's MFFS2, instead of immibis' MFFS1.
Aedaric Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, however the Normal Chest to Copper Chest Upgrade and Normal Chest to Iron Chest Upgrade NEI icons are missing, which susequently affects the icon displayed on the crafting tables.

I already mentioned that.
LazDude2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 As I said, these minor bugs are what we'll be polishing up.
Zicamox Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 What version of forestry do you use? Cited directly from http://forestry.sengir.net/wiki/index.php?n=Main.PreviousVersions , we use "Forestry 1.4.8.7_bc2.2 for Minecraft 1.2.5 and BuildCraft 2.2.14+"
