Valkon Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Mining laser skellies. That is all. You forgot about giving them fully charged quantum armor. Quote
Neowulf Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 That would be an AWESOME way to mine. Play dodgeball with a skeleton spawner and pickup the drops. Quote
cmwatford Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 You forgot about giving them fully charged quantum armor. That would be a legitimate reason to rage quit. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Quote
charcharmunro Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 You probably wouldn't even need to charge their quantum armor, as mob armour is always indestructible. Quote
Jiggins Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Well if mobs spawn with random bits of armour, what if Minecraft actually recognises armour added from mods and gave them to zombies and skeletons? We would be screwed! Quote
Neowulf Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Meh, if the new thaumcraft is enough like 2. Trap em in a hole with a crucible of souls. Quote
Mageleon3860 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Let's leave that to the thread it's in. And musket skeletons would be horrifying. A musket can 1 shot you. Really? O.o does a blunderbuss 1 hit? (Think i spelt that wrong) If skeletons pick up ANYTHING ill give them...... Nano Sabre or Mining laser with Quantium legs, boots and helmet and a jetpack lol Quote
The Merchant of Menace Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Blunderbuss projectiles vanish when you break the block they are in, so I haven't been able to test how lethal it is to the player. Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Blunderbuss projectiles vanish when you break the block they are in, so I haven't been able to test how lethal it is to the player. Can't you just shoot someone with it? Quote

Hmm... be good to see the animation but i think the modder would have to do that Quote
cmwatford Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Blunderbuss equipped skellies is almost as bad as mining laser equipped skellies. One oneshots you and your friends the other tears your base apart. Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Meh, everyone wears quantum armour anyways... so why complain? However, Alblaka is getting ready for a 'war update' that will nerf the armours and add tons of new weapons in. Quote

Probably gift it to a skeleton. Quote
jakj Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The blunderbuss has the best sound-effect in Minecraft, though. Been thinking about adding a diamond-crafted one that's the strength of two shots at once. Double-barrelled blunderbuss, reinforced with diamond so you don't end up in pieces? Quote
joe5 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 he is, that is awesome. is their any chance that you have a link to where he mentioned that? Quote

Thats sounds awesome :-), i also think the Crossbow should have different bolts like gold tipped, diamond tipped, iron tipped egt, but make the bolts its using at the moment alot weaker. Quote
GingaNija Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I like the idea of new food crops. Wheat and melons were getting a bit old. It would be nice if the hunger system were a bit more advanced, but...that's just me, I guess. Also, night vision potions = caving without torches! Woo! Wait...night vision & invisibility...hmmmm... Aren't they ment to be adding potatoes and carrots? Quote
GingaNija Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 If you think that musket skeletons would be terrifing, how about an NPC uprising recreating scenes out of the tet offensive or the boer wars. Mabe even a recreation of the Battle of Rorke's Drift. Quote
Mageleon3860 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Aren't they ment to be adding potatoes and carrots? that is what he is on about, he was just saying wheat and melons was getting boring which i agree with him on that.. and i hope they heal a decent amount bread and melons where terrible. Jiggins Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Potatoes refill 3 hunger bars, like bread but it takes three wheat to make one bread, whereas it takes one potato, cooked in a furnace. I think bread will be easier to make in vanilla but with IC2 and a BC/RP auto smelting and sorting, potatoes will be a lot easier for us. I’m not too sure about carrots though. Quote

Cool, because it was a menace just to get 3 bits of wheat for 1 bit of bread and potatoes will be easy to cook specially with induction furnace or somthing along those lines Quote
Jiggins Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I think it’s mainly used for night vision potions, I’m not sure if it has any other affects. Quote
Torezu Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I wonder what the effect of golden carrots is though. I'm not sure the food effect (if there is one), but they're used in making Night Vision Potions. Quote
