Magical Divination

Magical Divination is a non-tech modpack created by Nerd Storm Production. It focuses strictly on Adventure and Magic. There are a variety of changes made to the actual mechanics of Minecraft that make this pack quite the challenge. This pack is NOT for the feint of heart. This pack is for those that thirst for adventure and exploration. The pack used Solder integration so updating is not an issue and will be fairly quick after the initial download. All mods within the pack are at the current stable (if not better) releases of the mods contained within. If there are issues with the mods I will provide what help I can but more than likely it is a problem with the mod itself. This mod has been tested on both SMP and Single Player and works without issue.


The pack offers a questing system as well as enhanced NPC Villages. The Modpack also contains a variety of terrain generation mods that will reward your exploration with various dungeons and towers that contain loot. The modpack has been configured to allow loot from these special chests to contain some otherwise unobtainable items from other mods.


Magical Divination also contains a survival system. You must maintain your health and be careful while traveling in darkness. There is no telling what terrible creatures lurk in the night. Players will also come across events that can and will create an even larger challenge.

I hereby crown you Solder Pack Guru lol. Your work is awesome. I will test this out today on my arrival back home and edit this post with my findings although I already know they will be glorious as always. Thank you once again and job well done.
 
EDIT: As I said I would, I have tested this quite a few times and it works flawlessly thus far. Thank you.

Tested out the new Get Permissions button on my actual modpack folder and it works like a charm. Only thing I noticed is it will only generate the open permissions, it won't generate ones that require permission or even if it can't find permissions perhaps an "Unknown" status unlike when you are actually creating the pack and it says to provide a link to the permissions. But I do see lables in the PermLevels.cs file (Unless of course every mod in my pack has open permissions, which I'm fairly certain isn't the case because i know some require that you have the permissions/notify them it is in a modpack) IE:
OpenMods(OpenMods) by Mikeemoo At http://www.openblocks.info/ Permissions are Unknown (if the system just doesn't know what the permissions are) Permissions are Required (if the mod-author states you need permissions)    
Is that intentional or was that an oversight? Either way even if it was intentional, I don't mind cross-referencing so THANK YOU so damn much lol!!!!!!

I see your working on some adding some stuff into this already astronomically amazing piece of software. I have a slight suggestion or maybe its already in there. You already have settings to upload the data to the Solder Installation provided the user has an MySQL setup and it creates the pack for you already in the dashboard which is equally as awesome.
 
What about creating a feature in the program to pull from the Solder MySQL to auto-populate the local database that is stored on the user's computer when the mod is looking if items have already been uploaded. I see that as potentially being especially helpful for mods that are missing .info files and the user has already uploaded them and created them manually via the solder dashboard. Thoughts?

If the screwdriver doesn't work. You can also make a cover and slip it In between the side you are trying to remove the connection from. I had to do that because I had a system already setup and a mod pack update caused all my pipes to rotate and connect to the incorrect inventory.

There was a thread like this that well kinda got pushed all the way down due to all the "HALP ME PL0XX - NO WORK!" threads. 
 
So I think it is nice to restart this. I have just finished up a new area of operations. On my server I have adopted the role of evil warlock and my entire server is working to well....kill me. So my strong hold which is almost ready is pictured below.
 

 
The floor is littered with landmines, and bridges that collapse and drop you into the lava holes.

Interesting little fun story that has happened to me.

For some reason the players on my server have given me the role of evil god tyrant since I am the creator of the server. I never asked for it, nor am I evil. I just happen to shoot ahead of everyone before they had a chance because I had prior experience with B-Team and my fellow denizens happen to, rather unceremoniously, experience first hand witchery because they had no idea what a taglock was.

One person happened to wise up to witchery. They created a poppet and somehow got my taglock but didn't know what to do with the voodoo poppet doll. So they were fiddling with it and it just so happened that they figured out how to toss me around...now needless to say I did not inform them of their newfound power so I proceeded along my merry little way......getting tossed every once and a while, no big deal because like I said..they weren't aware of what they were doing and I kept my silence.

Crap a tornado, run for it! Yet I cant run....Instead....I am tossed into the tornado which happens to be in a rather terrible biome which then flings me out of it, into a hole which is down to bedrock and filled with lava.....

A rather unpleasant day and the individual who tossed me into the tornado with the voodoo doll had no idea of the feat they just accomplished.

I'm not to sure if this would work but you can try an item dropper. That'll probably do it.

Without a doubt I would have to plus vote this in as well. I mean it adds so much yet is so simple.

I do like that setup. That was actually my first setup. The only problem I have with it is SMP. It causes some annoying lag and the amount of entities it can create that are not picked up can be insane. Of course keep in mind that is just my server. It won't necessarily do the same on other servers. However in Single Player, I still use that setup.

You can try and I say try because it may not work, is go into the forge configs and there will be a line

These warnings are not to be taken lightly, as they can screw things up. Or you can use a 3rd party world editing software to manually go into your world and delete the oven. Or you can delete your player.dat file if you are the server owner and it will erase your inventory and your spawn location and send you back to server spawn and hopefully your chunk will be unloaded and the error will resolve itself. If however your spawn is near your base that won't do anything.
 
You can alternatively wait to see if anyone else has a better suggestion because mine might not be the best and someone may know an easier and simpler way.

Majority of the threads are stacking up with "MODPACK NO START HALP!" or "B-TEAM WORK NO MORE!" or the civilized "why is my Attack of the B-Team server not starting up anymore".
 
I am not backseat modding and I am not being rude. But this thread MORE THAN LIKELY will explain why all of a sudden it isn't working yet the previous version it was working fine.
 
Java6 support for one of the mods was dropped I believe and you need to get Java7 and install it. 
 
And make sure you REMOVE all aspects of Java6 before you just go an install Java7.
