  1. I'd try clearing out the whole folder if you're trying to get the base textures working (back up your worlds and remove the .technic folder completely, then redownload everything). For sphax, you need to download this (main pack) and this (b-team addon), then copy the assets folder from the addon into the original pack (the b-team pack doesn't contain the base stuff, only the stuff that's new in the b-team).
  2. Please post this up on the tracker - there's a link in my sig for what to do with the crash log (putting it on a pastebin like site works best).
  3. Please follow the instructions in this tracker post; http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&section=findpost&pid=3453
  4. Crap, wish I'd thought of that. She caught me off-guard and when I backed off round a corner to heal she disappeared. I think I even had an entity picker on me
  5. 1.5GB of RAM is fine, but the problem is you don't have the right version of Java installed - please do a search for other people with this problem as it's been answered a bunch (searching for Snow Leopard should do it).
  6. I think you need to keep your usage up over a period of days, I haven't identified the exact conditions yet but it is just using a crystal ball that triggers it (you may have to use it on other people, I did a fair bit). It's really rare - I thought it wasn't working and it was a real surprise when it happened to me. What do you want Baba Yaga for?
  7. Start with apt-get purge openjdk* (you may have to sudo), then use dpkg --list | grep -i jdk to check if it's gone. Once it is, reinstall 7 (instructions here; http://openjdk.java.net/install/)
  8. CPmario, it's likely you have the same thing if you just reset - follow the same instructions the same way and it should fix it. (the mods missing error, not the hat thing) Please take the time to read >this, too. If you still have problems, post logs up on the tracker and someone will try to help.
  9. You can either force-install JDK 1.7 using software like pacifist, or you can set B-Team back to version 1.0.8 (the cog on the left under the b-team icon lets you choose versions manually, click that and set the version to 1.0.8 and that one will work on Java 1.6). Edit: Or you can upgrade the OS to Mavericks if your machine supports it. (it's free for you from snow leopard)
  10. I know there's commands called gene list to see what a player has, and gene add or gene remove to give and take them away, but I've never actually used them - I'd start by trying those. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
  11. Ah, that - In all likelyhood if you follow the instructions in this tracker post it should sort you; http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-852-cannot-join-any-servers/#entry3453
  12. Try to follow these instructions from the tracker first; http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-852-cannot-join-any-servers/#entry3453 If you continue to have problems, please post them on the tracker.
  13. Yeah, still using 1.6 (line 56) [B#431] 2014/03/16 09:59:02 [INFO] 2014-03-16 09:59:02 [INFO] [ForgeModLoader] Java is OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.6.0_27, running on Linux:amd64:3.2.0-4-amd64, installed at /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/jre Are you sure you apt-get remove'd the old JRE? or did an apt-get purge on openjdk?
  14. Yep, that's the one That should be it once you do that, looks ok other than mapwriter. (probably got corrupted in an out of memory crash, it writes a lot of data so it hates those)
  15. No worries, but I can't take the credit for that fix, so thanks to the guys who found the problem Please confirm that issue on the thread if you had it so it's more likely to be looked at by the devs.
  16. Follow the instructions here for now, there seems to be some kind of bug which has yet to be isolated. In future, please post stuff like this on the tracker (like that post in the link).
  17. Which spawners are you using? I haven't had this issue before.
  18. Stallings, try this solution from the tracker and let me know how that goes (looks like it might be an issue with bteam clients getting files that are too recent for the server somehow); http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-852-cannot-join-any-servers/#entry3453 Please post on that thread if it helped you with what you experienced and what you did so they can get it sorted out. DonDom, please try the same thing.
  19. Boujangel - bigger numbers aren't always better, and allocating numbers higher than 3GB have started giving odd lag in my experience (this is because the more RAM you have, the more things minecraft keeps loaded and the harder the CPU ends up working checking up on it all). Karlssenn, in the top right of the launcher you'll see a cog, click that and it'll have a dropdown menu for RAM options. Anywhere from 1.5GB to about 3GB works best for most people.
  20. You just need to keep the chunk loaded - the easiest way is with a Poppet Shelf.
  21. Update your graphics card drivers - if you have trouble with that, let me know and I'll help talk you through it, don't just rush off if you're unsure.
  22. Domdon, there's a link in my sig for how to do it, and you can't upload here in the forum, only the tracker (using something like pastebin works too, so if you want to put that on the tracker instead that's fine).
  23. Please post this on the tracker, Maddy, along with any logs you have. There's links in my sig to help with that.
  24. Cookiebucket, without knowing which mods it's complaining about, I can't help (though if it's complaining and you're sure you've got 1.0.9c, then try 1.0.8). Mannofaction, what you've got is something else - a full page of MFR errors, right? Can you post your logs to the tracker, please? (links are in my sig).
  25. There's a few things in this I hadn't noticed before - bobby, if you're still around, try resetting the pack (the cog on the left gives you that option).
