  1. No worries, you've given me the greatest gift a linux user can, letting a windows tech help you (In all fairness I used to use linux as my primary OS so it might not really count, but you've still made me beam with pride)
  2. Please use the link in my signature to find out how to get the crashlog, and post it up on the tracker (there's also a link in my sig to that).
  3. It should probably be posted in the bug tracker (there's a link in my sig). There's more people looking around there to help with this kind of thing. That error is unusual though, does ordinary minecraft work?
  4. Sorry, I don't check back here as often as the tracker, go to; 7187,250,6911 and remove the carpenters block there (you may need to use mcedit).
  5. Exo Armour is armour - it replaces it and goes in the same spot. If you want it to give more armour points, you can put iron plates in it. There's other things it can do too.
  6. Don't need taglocks, just have players nearby when you use it, you'll read their fortune instead of your own.
  7. That's very odd - try first quitting all the way out and running the launcher again. This can happen sometimes if your computer can't contact either minecraft.net or the Technic servers for some reason. Once you're online again, I'd try resetting the pack (I guess it got interrupted part way through its download somehow and is missing a lot of sound files).
  8. No worries, have fun with it!
  9. You probably need to update your java version. Go here http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and make certain you've got 1.7 installed and 1.6 removed (b-team isn't compatible with java 1.6 for the moment).
  10. It had the ability for a short while so if you've seen it before that's why, Enderman. It's disabled on crayfishes end until he's fixed some bugs with it, and I don't think the B-Team versions have ever had that functionality in them (can't remember now, could be wrong). If it's important to you, go bug crayfish - if he fixes it and puts it back in we'll get it here too. PS: Enderman, stop taking blocks out of my floors. I don't even know what kind of damage I've done to my ankles already, but it's not good. (nice name )
  11. Welcome to the B-Team forums! Believe me, this is an easy way to get a modpack like this installed for minecraft compared to the other options The error you're getting is the one that comes up if Java is failing to run - check you've got the latest one here first; http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp If you're on OSX then you'll need to get the JDK, not the JRE, or it won't load automatically (and you'll get this error). If none of that is the case (if you find java is installed, seems to be up to date, and you're not on OSX) then please post a launcher log on the tracker - useful links to help with both are in my sig.
  12. That's odd. You can cause the game to spawn you in as a completely new person if you've got nothing in your inventory anyway (it'll lose anything from your inventory) by deleting your player data file. Go into your saves folder, find the name of the world (and open that folder), in there you'll see a folder called players, and in players you'll see a file called 'whatever your name is.dat'. Delete that, and you'll be spawned in as a new player next time you open that world.
  13. Please post a crash report on the tracker (links on how to get a report and to the tracker are in my sig).
  14. Follow the link in my sig - you might only have launcher logs, not crash logs - if so then that's fine, but we'll need it anyway. Did you already make sure your current graphics drivers support opengl properly? Edit: You can test opengl quickest by running normal minecraft if you haven't - it uses lwjgl just the same so if that works its a good sign that's set up right.
  15. Cpmario, glad you worked it out in my absence, have fun Stallings, that sounds like something else is wrong on his end - get him to reset the pack (again if he's done it already), it may come up with the MFR error you just fixed after that and you can apply that same fix if it does, that should do it. It's unlikely to be something on the server if you've got multiple other machines which connect to it fine (unless they've got a copy from the server or something - so long as it was downloaded from the launcher it should be fine).
  16. Please use the links in my sig to get the crash log (it'll be in a folder) and post on the tracker (a link to that is also in my sig), and we'll try to help.
  17. Make sure you've got no firewall or anything set up on your computer, and make sure they can ping you (double clicking you in the list of PCs or right-clicking you and choosing ping should test it - if those time out then you're blocking them somehow). Hamachi can have all manner of issues though - make sure it's working first before trying to connect anything else through it (their forums might be a better place to get help for this initially).
  18. That's a new one... You can try going here; C:/Users/Romano/AppData/Roaming/.technic/modpacks/attack-of-the-bteam/config and deleting hamsterrific.cfg Or you can reset the mod pack if that doesn't work.
  19. Ok, that's good to know - whatever it is opens the file right at the moment b-team is going to use it, it doesn't stay open all the time. Pretty much the only thing that acts like that is an antivirus (it rules out any weird system configuration issues) - did you try turning it off temporarily or adding the B-team folder to the list of exceptions?
  20. Can you post up the new log please?
  21. Nah, you've done everything right - shutting down, removing morphbeta and restarting was enough to remove those rogue entities for me. Can you use MCEdit to double-check that the entity is gone from the level.dat for world? (also check that the station dimension has you in it).
  22. Please post logs up on the tracker (links are in my sig to help you with that) and people will try to help.
  23. Please post logs up on the tracker (links are in my sig to help you with that).
  24. I guess you could say he's trying to get his point... "a cross". yeeeaaaaaahhh!!
  25. The morph mod also has an option in its config which sets it to not take a new form automatically on a kill (which I like). If you want it off completely, simply move or delete the morphbeta-0.7.0.zip file from the mods folder. Edit: Rules are >here in case you can't find them or something.
