Thousands of Sheep Spawned Naturally - A bug?
Lethosos replied to TeeKay's topic in Voltz Discussion
You know how you sometimes take a wrong turn that you don't realize that you did, and the next thing you know, you're up to your pits in the middle of a huge gathering of Hare Krishna? Yeah, like that. -
I'm starting to see the re-implementation of the un-nerf in TC code as a means of covering his ass. Precisely for what besides the obvious, I'm still not sure. Even the folks at FTBforums is having a similar, if longer, field day over the same general issue between GregT and mDiyo. The question, I think, is does GregT want a hardmode mod, or a total conversion mod? Vanilla mechanics is already self-balanced, IMO.

Because it wasn't originally seen as a "viable" form of liquid storage. That being said, 128 buckets in one block is ridiculous. Better check that future versions of Steve's doesn't modify the internal storage.

Yes, you lolibucket. :p

I suddenly have the strangest desire to hump your leg. You're just that awesome. That being said, how about getting in touch with Techpriest? With his TekkitZ project gone from his hard drive, I think he needs a different project to occupy himself. -
[1.6.x/1.5.x] Redstone In Motion (Redpower Frames) 2.3.0.0 (October 8)
Lethosos replied to jakj's topic in Modders Metropolis
Hrm, noticed a new Tinker's Construct build was released with the Drawbridge block that mDiyo was playing around with. So I threw that into the testing pack to see how that would behave on a carriage. I would describe what I've seen so far as "peculiar", but not game-breaking, ie. it works, but it does interesting things when you move it while it's extended, so I wouldn't worry about adding support for that anytime soon. (The Fancy Redstone Block with an extended activation range doesn't affect engines/motors indirectly, but we can call that a feature here--you coded for an explicit strength here, I believe.) -
[1.5.X/1.6.2] Artifice - We have the technology...

It's already found a home in my modpack. Hrm, may add this to a special adventure map building modpack as well... -
Dream? Please assume the DiNozzo position so we can play the part of Gibbs. (NCIS reference, go look it up.)

If you can get me several of those Touhou dubstep links, I know someone who would love those. :D
-
No, the Maoist kind.
-
It uses OpenGL drivers, if I recall. Still wouldn't hurt to check the DirectX drivers anyways, other games use that.

[In Progress]TekkitZ, a map adaption of DayZ. (0.0.4)
Lethosos replied to Techpriest's topic in Get Lost Grotto
Uh... Re-read Techpriest's last post for me again, please. Go on, I can wait. Done? Good. Because, in case you're dumber than you look (and you probably are, given that you've necroed a dead thread earlier today,) this project is dead. Seriously. -
Try just chopping it down before you get too excited.

Tinker's Construct and server commands causing strange issue.
Lethosos replied to Retagin's topic in Hexxit Discussion
Easy answer to why: you tried to spawn in a TC tool with no metadata. The way mDiyo built the tools is so that it's basically a special blank tool item that takes on defined properties on creation in the Tool Bench. All of this is stored in that specific tool's metadata, so that it knows how to render the item correctly. -
Not sure if it's viable, the main story is basically a resistance movement against the might of the world-spanning Third Reich. The only action I can think of is cleaning out pockets of insurgents.
-
It's basically Wolfenstein in an alternate history era, up to the 1980s or so. Lots of Nazi war machines, too.
-
Yeah, the Oasts is a pretty nasty place to live, especially on the east side. You should come live with the rest of humanity on the East Coast. :D
-
Haven't stopped some groups, but hey, you can't have your cake and Edith, too. Why do you think we love those old rubber Godzilla movies?
-
Well, I do know that was early on in the comic. That being said, I haven't read any of it for the past few years. Anyways, RAM may be an issue depending on how much you have leftover after the motherboard, CPU, power supply, DVD-R drive, and video card. (Not discounting the case, but bare minimum you can always use a discarded case. Not hard to find if you ask around.) My preference are Corsair brand, DDR3 at the least. You could possibly get by with just one 4GB stick, but the more the better.
-
And do it where a bunch of old people are watching. Because, uh, they asorb negative ions which can otherwise corrode the contacts! Yeah!
-
Yeah, that's the same issue with daikaiju--they'd have to have bones made of tungsten or something.
-
RedLogic, RedstoneInMotion(WIP), Immiblis's Microblocks... yeah, those are the mods you're looking for. No word on the "itemduct" that Lemming mentioned a month back yet, though, but that's not a problem IMO.
