    There was a DDoS attack about a week ago, but I think this just might be plain heavy load. It is a weekend.

    Googling it would be easier. See, you didn't give your OS, system architecture (32- or 64-bit), Java version you want to use, or any other useful information.

    I have not noticed that it's broken. As a matter of fact, I've never had it crash or corrupt worlds. Other things have, yes, but not BoP.

    I'd be willing to bet that if you scroll down in the NEI menu screen, as soon as you get to the display page that includes whatever contains an "ony", it crashes too. This kind of error is almost always related to a client-side-only mod that's been left in the server. In this case, I'd guess it's an NEI addon that the server doesn't need. If it's only the client that crashes instead, then it would be best to post a pack URL or platform link so people can install it (or at least download it) and troubleshoot.

    Not that I'm aware. I'd just stop using whichever one you don't have packs on, honestly. There are probably hundreds of dead accounts on both the Platform and Forums rolls.

    I'm going to just take a wild guess and say it's a Java 8 vs Java 7 issue. If any other servers work, perhaps I'm wrong.

    OceanCraft is out for 1.7.10, at least on the MCF page. So is Mariculture, so on hiatus/abandoned or not, it'll work for the near-term foreseeable future of mod packs. Botania/Natura add some ocean features, though not a ton. BoP adds ocean biomes and a few little things like coral. MoCreatures adds ocean/water mobs, but not terrain features. LotsOMobs and Aquatic Abyss seem to be on 1.7.2 still, which may be compatible but isn't a good sign on update speed. Then there are Shipwrecks! (1.7.10), Animals+ (same), Ocean Adventures (1.7.2), and weather mods like Coros (Local Weather) and Climate Control. However, you're not in the right place. You want Platform Pagoda. This section is actually for custom mod requests. So I moved the thread.

    Believe it or not, I got it functioning. Then I found 3 or 10 more mods/addons I wanted to include. Hehe. So it's a work in progress.

    Join the club. I've spent the last...3 days or so trying to get a server pack built to match a client pack that works flawlessly. It's kind of frustrating. And all the Cauldron downloads have been DMCA-removed, so there's no quick & easy way to get a new server set up any more.

    I discovered recently that the 1.7.2 version of Treecapitator works in some 1.7.10 mod packs, while the 1.7.10 version requires a newer version of Forge than a lot of modpacks have, and with all the Cauldron/Bukkit DMCA crap going on, I think I'll probably just end up sticking with the 1.7.2 version on my new (private) pack so I don't have to screw around with just finding stuff that works.

    Just suggestions. RiM is a nice little mod jakj made and PlanetGuy continued from here on the forums, which basically adds frames (from the old RedPower 2) to 1.6.4+ versions. It's not RS-fancy, it's just mobile (and teleporting) structures - care should be used when trying to move large things. Sanguimancy's just a Blood Magic addon, not its own mod. And I...didn't realize Dartcraft had its own Advanced Machines equivalent, because I haven't played with it much.

    I'm enjoying the new Platform, but I must be getting old. It took way too long to figure out how to add a private pack.
