Well, apparently quoting allows you to write stuff. Sorry, holymage, no more excuses.

EDIT: And now, 5s later, I can write w/o quoting.

Well, at least someone can. Maybe quoting unlocks it or something?

Edit: Okay, yeah, quoting allows you to post normally

Yeah, I could tell. The spammers started posting again...

In other news, recently found a series someone snuck on youtube called Begin Japanology. Yay for interesting stuff to watch in the background. Boo for all the interesting stuff being an ocean away.

Ok, so perusing youtube brought up direwolf20's pax south video. And I like placing actual faces with voices so I watched it.

Holy crap will someone please send soaryn a sandwich? He's so thin I'm half expecting a 12 year old japanese girl to pick him up and yell "Henshin!"

Slowpoke is exactly what I pictured him to look like, but to be fair I did cheat. He has been on TV before:

Everyone else was pretty normal looking. Quite disappointing. None of them obey hollywood's law of interesting characters.

Hearing good things about both places, but let's see what YOU have to say.
Assume I'm planning to go on a trip to Caledonia (that's Scotland...) for a few days this summer.
Which city should I make my "home base"?

Edinburgh or Glasgow?

I don't know much about either places, but I've heard that people from Glasgow tend to smile a lot :P

What are you planning on visiting? Restaurants, pubs, castles, parks, museums etc.?

Stirling Castle would be on the schedule.
I haven't figured out everything I want to see and do yet. For the most part, that's what "home base" is all about. I can plan from there. ;)
